Honestly, theses unheard of cheaper transfers get me a lot more excited than spaffing £20m+ on average players with ‘premier league experience’ It’s the complete unknown that makes me look forward to seeing them play for us.

Looking for a tv cabinet, large and possibly small sideboard and some sort of ladder/shelving unit. The only way I could see this happening is part of a Hermansen deal like the KDH one last year as a PSR fiddle.

It’s massive but it’s not as big as 2 years ago. A right back is absolutely key, normally I’d want a raw player we can build it but it’s important they can hit the ground running. As much as I’d love to see him back, I just don’t think he’s actually worth that much money. Any loan deal would come with a big fee and with Bouba seemingly reformed I just don’t think it’s needed. If we’re going after ex players then it’s Barnes please.

There was a point on Tuesday where he really only made a half hearted effort (if that) to chase one of their players down who was bursting into our half. It’s a gamble, no doubt about it but then 99% of managers would be a gamble also. I don’t know a lot about him as a manager as I don’t really follow football from abroad, my overriding emotion is ‘it can’t be any worse can it?!’ I hope he brings a decent set off staff with him that are sturdy pillars to prop him up. I feel genuine excitement for Saturday now which I haven’t felt for a long time, so that’s the major positive I’ll take out of this as a minimum.
