I have a feeling that Souttar is coming up to an amount of appearances where we would have to make an add on payment for him. It’s the only way I can get my head round him not being ahead of what we’ve got.

I think he will get the sack once we’re officially relegated. I can only imagine we have a cheap break clause upon relegation but on the other hand that’d be too much like good planning.

This is the problem. If it’s just a fleeting chant by a few every week it will never get taken seriously.

Done. My biggest gripe is them forcing the issue when we’re not going to be in the league that it’s required. So if we fell down the leagues now we would still be stuck with it. I did explain in the (small) comment box that it’s the thing that finally pushed me over the edge with not renewing. The bigger thing for me which this comes under is how the fans are treated.

My boycott started about a month ago and not missed it at all. In fact it’s quite a liberating feeling knowing I can waste only 2 hours watching it on the telly and it not ruin my whole day.

I don’t believe anyone genuinely thinks it’s a good idea to travel to Manchester on a school night for this. Why would you go?

Do I have to actively tell them I’m not renewing? I pay mine in full so it won’t auto renew and was just going to let the cut off date come and go. I’m hoping that way that I might get asked why I’m not renewing.

Seem to be receiving quite a lot of comms about renewing, is it just because I’ve not renewed or is everyone getting it? I’m hoping it means there’s been slow uptake.

No. It’s been bubbling inside for a few years but this last couple of weeks something has finally clicked inside of me that means I’m done with this club as a match going supporter. Part of what kept me renewing was the priority points I’d spent thousands travelling up and down then country to accrue being lost. Thinking about it sensibly though, I don’t want to go to home matches nevermind away anymore. Had my season ticket for approx 25 years and it’s so sad to end like this but I know I won’t regret giving it up. I’ve got my own ‘digital season ticket’ for £60 a year.

I will contribute definitely. Might I suggest a cheaper back up option rather than sending people money back though. Even if it’s just the van again.

Most definitely not, the decision was made the other day. I think a fair few of my mates are following suit too.

I think the problem is Rudkin setting ridiculous price tags on the players and scaring the interested parties off. It seems to have happened on many occasions the last few years.

Nothing will change whilst everyone is still turning up in numbers and clapping the players off after every 3-4 goal pasting. Vote with your feet, there is definitely something better you can do with your time.

An example of what I mean is there’s no way of blocking movies that are age rated (not that I’m aware of anyway). Any adult programmes on Virgin or Sky require the pin code to watch them. I still remember sneakily watching Eurotrash as a young lad 😂

Thought about using IPTV full time but we need something more child friendly.

Has anyone used Freely on a tv yet? With the price hikes with Virgin every year I’m considering getting a tv that has Freely on and just having WiFi with Virgin. It’s got a limited amount of channels but we don’t watch too much telly since having a little one anyway.

I was going to wait until the summer to decide but that’s it for me I’m done. Not renewing.
