Are you logging calories or not? Essentially you can eat whatever you want and lose weight as long as you eat less calories than you consume. I was 20 stone when I was 21. Lost 8 stone and have maintained since then by eating what I want but counting calories. I do tend to eat well though with a high protein diet but I don’t restrict. Diet is way more important than the gym for weight loss. However working out will burn more calories which obviously helps lose more weight and makes you look better.
