Money talks especially when life changing
-
Is there anything else at the Club to be enthusiastic about?? Tops still the owner, Rudkins still here in a higher position, I’m disgruntled mate, I’m pissed off, which is probably why I’ve taken more time to look into McCarron’s background than possibly most, he’s literally the only thing to be enthusiastic about, I want to know who this guy is and what he’s about and look past the Top and Rudkin talk, what else is there too talk about regarding them??? It’s been done to the death An yeh I know someone at Seagrave but not to the point where I get to mingle into the inner workings of what’s going on I’m not there myself, I just get to hear things from time to time.

Correct regarding Southampton but Sunderland wasn’t his only other role in Football, he was a sports scientist at Seattle Sounders but also worked at the Premier League as their elite performance manager essentially working with all 20 EPL Clubs during that period, focusing on each Clubs homegrown development plans and also helping aid Academy projects. I believe he was hired by Richard Scudamore to do the role as well which is quite impressive to say the least

Tops flown back which one could assume means managerial interviews this week perhaps
-
All the Starting line up in Lommel’s promotion are McCarron signings as well, and the Manager That promotion is because of the structure McCarron left behind entirely tbf
-
It would be a boring world if we all believed the same thing I guess I can’t blame you tbf with your cynicism with what we’ve seen these past several years now, but here’s hoping hay

I’ve heard the same first hand frustrations from the staff too mate regarding the owner. People want proof in the pudding, that Top is angling at changing, or more realistically, too sod off all together (mainly because he’s kept Rudkin) the latter is not happening. The trope is McCarron is going too be Rudkins fall guy, rather than actually, he’s going too be Tops much needed new guy, the high flying City Group fella who was no doubt on a wedge in his position at CFG, and was nonetheless sourced out by Top as someone that might have something about them too run the show whilst at the same time being able too appease his loyalty too Rudkin assigning him the overseer of multiple projects rather the predominantly men’s first team chief disaster designer, he’s moved Ruskin away I’m hoping too allow this young lad McCarron who’s got something about him within the CFG Group. Not too give too much away about my feelings on McCarron but a friend of mines wife who has worked closely alongside Simon Timson, the guy who was essentially the architect behind Team GB’s highly successful 2016 Olympics and now a Director at CFG, has said McCarron was CFG’s up and coming far and away high flying Director, tipped as a potential future sporting director & even Global Director of all football operations at CFG! But with those positions currently well secured, perhaps a point too prove himself in the mean time here with us was a challenge worth taking? we hear a about academy players potential at such young ages, McCarron’s only 38 which is incredibly young for his position, perhaps we are his “loan” option at a better level than Lommel too test his minerals, a risk on his part granted but all that said……if all true above, he’s come in so he’s just going too be pushed over by Rudkin? And Top after securing him from CFG is just not going too listen to him?? Proof is in the pudding, with his assignment I feel some hope all being considered
-
Bingo regardless too people’s understandable frustration with radio silence from our Club, mine also included but what’s new, I’m hearing noises from Seagrave that McCarron is working tirelessly on our rebuild and is working around the clock sourcing the most suitable candidate possible for a “must bounce back” season that we require, along with all the other mess he has too sort out in recruitment, contracts, player analysis, academy etc etc I’ve also heard he’s eager too address the fans but not until he’s found a manager too go with his vision which kind of makes sense if true, what’s he going too say without a manager yet?? “I’m delighted too be hear, it’s a challenge that excites, I want too help turn the ship” bla bla bla From what I’m hearing about him I’m genuinely excited for what’s too come and Im open to having my heart broken again but that’s football right?
-
I think if anything Alonso going too Chelsea proves Liverpool aren’t in the looking for a new manager. so basically there was nothing too hold out for
-
That’s fair enough mate, there’s possibly some truth in what you say here and there’s not a lot I disagree with tbh, it’s fair comment from you The main thing I was getting at was to do with the comment I quoted about why don’t 58 year old millionaires just retire…..I just think that’s a silly observation, there’s many reasons why millionaires in their 50’s 60’s 70’s 80’s 90’s don’t retire
-
And there’s me thinking I’d gotten away with the pictures comment I’m in the Rudkin out camp, I just don’t see it your way which is he’s just in it for the money, it’s far deeper than that, which for me is all the more reason Top needs too boot him out but won’t
-
I never understood this why would someone retire at 58 just because they've got a few bob in the bank? There is such thing as purpose and passion. Rudkins been in football all his life, Leicester is his life, it’s his passion. Doesn't matter if he’s useless at his passion, it’s all he’s known. He’s going through an awkwardly torrid time in his passion because of his own failings, disassociating and disconnecting himself from the fan base because of them failings, but as far as he’s concerned, the main person, the owner Top, doesn’t want too get rid of him, so in Rudkins eyes, why should he leave? he’s aware of the fan’s vitriol towards him, the protest, he probably just wants too put it all right, but in classic Rudkin fashion, he’s ballsing it all up and continuing too isolate himself playing hide and seek with everyone. Rudkin is someone that will need too be sacked, he won’t do the right thing and step down because he doesn’t see things that way

I mean, Starmer needs to go, that much is obvious, he is not leading Labour to victory at the next election, it’s just not happening, he’s far too despised by the public. However, kudos to him for not submitting too pressure, 80+ MP’s have called for his resignation, none of which, not a single one in fact, have put a name forward for who should be the next leader, so Starmer is probably thinking that there is no one better, a sad state of affairs I know, if of the 400 Labour MP’s there’s not a single one that’s a “better option”….then yeh that’s pretty piss poor, however the point for Starmer stands, why step down when there’s no one better currently or even willing too challenge??? There’s only 80/90 of them calling for his resignation, 300+ aren’t. He’s also got the kings speech delivering his next political legislation going into the next term…..why would he stand down with such weak calls for him too do so? it would also be a win for Farage’s “vote for us too get Starmer out” calls I do think they’ll allow Burnham too run, it’s not a guarantee he’ll win a by election but I think Starmer and NEC will allow it this time and Starmer will ask Burnham for an agreed amount of time before Burnham can crack on and do him

I can’t understand it at all tbh He has zero, factually zero relevant policies that make sense, Factually shown support for Putin, factually shown admiration for Nazism, factually scurries away the millions he earns by not paying his due in taxes, factually recruits known racists into his party who on record have said some of the most unacceptable racial things that should be no where near politics, factually has spoken about having a private healthcare and dismantling the NHS, has factually talked about taking away workers rights implementing a system that is entirely at the benefit of the the employer, denies the urgency of climate change, factually ruined our national security and obliterated our economy with his Brexit lies, created the biggest divide in our politics, and has most of our hard working migrants in fear with his possible impending premiership at the next general election, he buggers off too other Countries notably America too absolutely slag off his own Country actively seeking Trump too slam sanctions ON US!!! His own countrymen ffs!!!!! He’s an absolute snake/traitor of the highest order But folks who don’t do ANY research into this moron vote for him because he “Says it as it is doesn’t he” Jesus Christ Tories were disastrous for 14 years, putting it mildly, and Labour have actually got a lot done but have been let down by terrible leadership by Starmer, terrible decisions, terrible public communication, which has completely drowned out the good things they have managed to do, but F me it’s still a better option than Traitors Reform party I’m equally angry with Labour and Tories for allowing a group like reform too get too where they are social media algorithms have a lot too play on reforms rise aswel I fully expect Farage to eventually be pm because other parties have done a terrible job at ousting Farage for what he truly is, and the media tbf People want change, I get it, but if they bothered to do any research into the change they want, I don’t get how that would be Reform
-
Pointless having a new Sporting Director if everything he does has to be signed off by Rudkin authority And I doubt he’d leave CFG for a position where Rudkin has the final say, obviously time will tell but it would literally make no sense otherwise having McCarron. Rudkin will hopefully be too busy floating around overseeing not just the men’s but also the women’s and Leuven side, he’ll be the overseer as far as see it, not the driver
-
You laugh but you add zero context considering the league Lommel are in and the small size of the Club, bringing in former Arsenal Assistant Steve Bould and former Sunderland boss Lee Johnson, for Lommel SK ain’t a bad showing of ambition at that level let’s wait and see what showing of ambition McCarron has at this level and Club size
-
Well, theres going to be quite an overhaul of the squad, the new manager is going too need too be in place for that to happen too be apart of brainstorming of Recruitment with McCarron. A manager that fits the style in the mind of McCarron, and bring the players in that complement whatever that style is going too be. The amount of work required too get these positions filled (manager and players) as well as players cleared it is a monumental task. So many things too need to be gotten right which takes time, but time is of the essence which brings naturally, quite an impressive amount of pressure. It’s going too be a fascinating play out, wether good or bad, I’m just wanting too hear something.

There’s a difference between hoping and expecting let’s see what happens
-
let’s hope so as someone has mentioned, the restructure hasn’t had chance too really be implemented Now that it’s in place let’s see what occurs Top said back in that interview he did that the new Sporting Director (McCarron) will bring in a new philosophy and style for the Club too adopt , that’s tells us another thing, if McCarron is going too be behind that, then he’d also be behind the hiring of the next manager, why would Top or Rudkin be behind the hiring of the manager if they aren’t the ones in this new structure driving the new philosophy and style? This is a McCarron job, which surely has to be a positive? Someone different doing the hiring for a change
-
The only really important change too that restructure as far as I’m concerned really, is James McCarron He’s going too be essentially running the Club, his job is to be in charge of recruitment, player development, running all first team performance departments, data and analysis departments, sports science and oversee the development of the Academy McCarron didn’t start in January, he started like not even 2 weeks ago, he has nothing to do with the shambles that has played out since january People can argue what impact he’s actually going too have with having too answer to Rudkin, but as far as I understand it, McCarrons going too have more power than people think, yes Rudkin is going to be “overseeing” but he shouldn’t be dictating what McCarron does, that’s the hole point of McCarron coming in that he can take over that side of things lets wait and see what he does and how it goes If Rudkin shoots down McCarron’s vision, we’ll know pretty soon, because I dare say McCarron will just leave
-
I’m hearing that Dicks agent has said they aren’t in the slightest bit Interested in League one Never mind
-
Imagine having the foresight too go and get a manager like Dick around the time when we were stuttering but still nonetheless around the play offs Not that we had any foresight at the club then, as McCarron wasn’t in position then, I do feel this is probably a McCarron attempt, it’s too out of the box for Rudkin and co, but realistically thinking about it its probably too late now to be enticing managers like Dick now that our fate is sealed in league one But I like the thinking from McCarron if he is indeed testing the waters
-
Jens Askou wouldn’t be a bad shout when you look at the budget he’s got too work with at Motherwell, I know it’s Scottish Football but he’s certainly got them punching way above their weight considering he’s working on a bottom half of the league Budget
