He wasn't terrible today but he just wasn't in any dangerous areas. Seemed to be doing neat stuff in the middle third.

Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!
iancognito replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
He should be coming on when we're holding a lead or need extra work rate but he's not starting ahead of Fatawu for me (or most people). I can't fault his effort I can see why Palace fans liked him but he has almost no end product. Missed two glaring chances to put Vardy in in first half and probably should do better with a chance in the 2nd half. -
Puel proves that wrong. Rodgers had credit in the bank from previous seasons. Cooper won't make Christmas if we're anywhere near the bottom 3
-
He was crap today but that's not on Wilf, he's got no business playing in behind strikers and (trying) to link play at this level. It was obvious to the world and his dog after 20 minutes we needed to change it up and go more attacking. Even if Winks had come off and put Buonanotte and El Couscous with Wilf holding it would have worked better. It's Levein-esque management
-
As long as Cooper's here I think Ricky's a sub. Justin would have to get injured to be left out under this guy. And Fatawu probably didn't do enough with his chance in the first few games to justify an extended run. If we win, it justifies the selection. Lose to this pile of crap and he's under huge pressure.

I had this mad idea. What if everyone going to the game had a recyclable paper ticket or a season card made of recycled plastic? Could work.

So true. So many of that old skool lot aren't even at the games anymore or have faded away into family stands & less vocal areas. I'll back any group that want to prevent a stale, fairground atmosphere taking over.

Finally got to see the whole thing to properly judge it. Faes & Okoli look to be forming a decent pairing, Faes just looks better not having to worry about leaving Vesty isolated. Stupid mistake but the defeat, sorry points dropped, are on Cooper. If you want to finish up defending, a few of that starting XI should be coming off the bench, not Choudhury and Coady. Start Ricky, start Fatawu, start El Couscous or Buoanotte, finish with Ayew, BDR, Skipp/Ndidi etc. Better still, stop trying to defend leads. No-one was especially poor but the game changes with the subs. 6s most, 7s on Faes, Skipp, Stephy & Vardy. -
That's indefensible. Go ahead and prove me wrong Steve but it's an uninspiring, grey line up. SMH about Ndidi alone.
-
Let's be honest it's not even worthy of a Commons debate. The only people in favour of it would be doing it with a grin on their faces only normally reserved for pumpkins at Halloween. "Mr Speaker, I'd like to talk about dynamic pricing. It's sh!te and it should be banned. All in favour say aye" Debate over.

OFFOOT would be as ineffective as OFGEM, OFWAT and all the rest. There's a lot wrong with top flight football and the distribution of cash etc but I can't see that a regulator would be anything more than another ineffectual sheriff - like the PFA or supporters trust - to get annoyed with when they fail to stop clubs doing exactly what they want

Defence did alright, Faes looks more comfortable next to a defender with pace. My faith in Cooper will diminish dramatically if he continues to persist with the Ndidi as an 8 and Stephy as a benchwarmer. With Skipp in the side we have enough solidity in midfield. Also subs need to be earlier. Mads MOTM, solid 7s for Okoli, Skipp and Ayew who worked their nuts off. -
Hahaha you old man đŸ¤£ Thought you UFS guys were young and full of life? Can't quite remember what game it was last season where the Fatawu song took off but imagine Édouard bangs in two against Forest that I Wanna Be Édouard would be that same level of awesome, even without the bouncing

It's a decent window now we have a couple of extra players in, still not happy about sending Cannon out on loan, not happy we still have deadwood like Ward and Soumare. Not overly delighted we let Albrighton walk away and then bought in a player of a similar age but with less ability (BDR) But people need to be realistic. You can't be sitting there facing points deductions and a relegation trap door and go on a mad trolley dash for players. You can't have our last couple of accounting years and just carry on spunking cash up the wall. We have some experience, some youth and competition for everyone's place. Let's hope it's enough.

Odsonne Edouard joins on loan - Official

Some of our best players have been rejects -
-
This will be Palace who have been consistent mainstays in the PL for a decade.
-
Palace are involved in half the deadline day deals. Chalobah in, Johnstone out, Nketiah in, Édouard out. Oh to be one of those clubs that can do more than one deal at a time.
-
If that's true - and I still don't trust Romano after all the Sensi stuff and 20 other rumours he was wrong about - I'll give credit to the club for getting it over the line pretty rapidly without weeks of bs and rumours
-
TBF his Palace career has been mainly under Hodgson when they were barely creating chances. Hopefully just needs a change of scenery.
-
Same as Ward. £50k a week. Sheff Wed were interested at the same time as Derby and the same reason Stoke didn't go for a permanent deal, his wages are ridiculous
