  1. Glenfield Border if you're an estate agent
  2. 11 games in a row, scored a total of 12 I believe. That was when the Crazy Stat Time thread took off with all sorts of impressive records not just "most shots conceded in a game" or "First time for X years we haven't had any academy kids on the bench"
  3. Please don't mention these con artist thieves again. Thanks to them I found out there was an actual thing called a Furniture Ombudsman 😵‍💫 Had to go full on Karen with them 😆
  4. How many from the Eddivedi erdiv evri....the Dutch league do well here? Surely he'll have a few proven Prem names in mind?
  5. RIP Nev One of the last of the old school commentators.
  6. I'd have fired him before Cooper and I can only hope he's part of the backroom staff that go with him. Get Brad back.
  7. TBF I'd totally forgotten Sunderland was even on his CV but to cut him a bit of slack they'd entered their basket case era by that point. Think 15 decent years at West Ham and Everton outweigh that one year. No doubt if he gets appointed it will get mentioned he once threatened to slap Vickie Sparks.
  8. Mr B Rodgers, Parkhead, Glasgow
  9. It goes in cycles. Fans who remember the 60s and early 70s will tell you it was us and Forest, then it was the Clough thing for a fair old while between them and the sheep. Us and Derby in the 90s because we were both in the Endsleigh/Nationwide/Championship forever contesting the top 6 whilst Forest were top tier media darlings but Forest and Derby spent about 14 years in the same division together before Forest's promotion. 28 consecutive East Mids derbies. If Derby stay down with the dead men for a bit it might go back to being us and Forest again but its gonna be a while.
  10. Let's not assume Winks won't like him, Moyes went after JWP when Noble left and like you say had the likes of Arteta and Cahill playing for him at Everton. He's direct but not in a Dyche way. The one thing he won't be doing is carrying on the experiment with Ndidi. In a 4231 it's him and one of Winks & Skipp sitting deep. The only question is whether he'll want Jamie up top or get someone in to hold the ball up.
  11. Goes back to that thing about "do managers make a difference?" Look at West Ham since Moyes left. Look at us without Enzo. And no-one will convince me that Everton side stays in this league without Dyche. Moyes may not be pretty to watch sometimes but the players buy into what he wants and he never gets relegated.. Getting a side that contained Antonio up top and Dawson & the cat kicker at the back not only into Europe but winning it is an incredible achievement. He'd need a decent budget in January but without a points deduction hanging over us that budget goes further. And even if the plan is ugly football, at least there's a plan.
  12. Agreed. About 2 mins before all the middle section went up I thought it was going to be a disaster because people were so late in and looked like it might not work out. One of the riders had a hole in and as it went up the stand people were waving through it, putting honesty flags up and one guy even got a full vape puff through it Great work.
  13. I think he realises all too well
  14. BEK, Soumare and Mads are the only ones who can say they contributed anything today. Most of them looked half-arsed at best, they know this guy is getting sacked.
  15. Football culture in general is just dying. It's like a day at the theatre. The ground lost 20% of the attendance when their second went in, people paying God knows how much for the tickets, food drink etc, buggering off with the best part of 20 mins to go. It's not just Leicester but we must be about the worst for it. The ground is stale, the atmosphere is stale, the entire matchday experience is turgid. It's symptomatic of where the club is as a whole, needing a massive reset.
  16. Triple sub at HT - Ndidi - awful, Faes - abysmal, Kristiansen so out of his depth its untrue and how McAteer keeps Mavididi on the bench is a complete mystery. Bizarrely, Soumare was our best player. If anyone thinks managers don't make a difference and it's all on players this performance demonstrates how wrong that belief is.
  17. 90 Prem games in 45 days. That enforced squad rotation with 2 games in 3 days at Christmas isnt exactly going to produce "peak Barclays"
  18. I'd be happier at UFS trousering the scarf cash than LCFC trousering the £250,000 card scam cash. At least the scarf cash might end up as part of a TIFO rather than swallowed up in another year of financial buffoonery.
  19. This reminds me of Monday "LCFC have refused Brian Little permission to speak to Aston Villa and have reported AVFC for their illegal approach to him" And we know what happened on the Tuesday. Even if the BC Game HQ burned down, directors were killed in a plane crash and the bank froze their assets, the club would insist there was no issue.
  20. International breaks were already infuriating but Abdul getting injured in a jungle clearing for yet another pointless international fixture is beyond a joke
  21. I think he means Geoff Peters. Loves to go with the minority our Geoff.
  22. This thread and the stadium atmosphere thread and others about fan engagement and disinterest are all interwoven. It's not just a Leicester thing, the game as a whole is fading. UK football especially has jumped the shark. Too much, too expensive, not a working class sport anymore, people just don't feel like the game belongs to them like it used to for so many decades. People don't want fireworks, funfairs, light shows and the rest. Every stadium now is doing the same thing and apart from one or two outliers they're all sterile. Our club ticks all those boxes. I still look forward to match days as it's the only time I see one of my best mates but we don't even try to get away tickets anymore. The expense and hassle combined with all of the elements above mean it's just not worth the effort.
  23. Reminds me of final-season-couldnt-be-less-arsed Mahrez
  24. He's been fine with Okoli, had some decent performances at home. He looks nervous next to Vestergaard because he knows he's the only cover.
  25. He'd be better suited as a wing back because he likes getting forward but we haven't used that sort of formation in yonks. Him and Justin have been exposed all season. Desperately need at least one experienced full back in Jan.
