Maybe he's this year's redemption player. It's unlikely but no more so than Nacho or Vesty or Simon Grayson (ask your grandad)

We have no idea what, if anything, was offered elsewhere. That's just a football fan mentality where you imagine a rosy world of players in love with the club as much as you are, in reality every single one of them is after a better deal elsewhere. It's the old addage that we'd all do the same in our own jobs. If you work for Pepsi and Coke offer to double your money, you go work for Coke. Personally, I only want Wilf here if he's a) injury free and b) committed. Even last season he missed two big chunks with injury and its always an unspecified injury with an unspecified time frame.

Stop the LCFC Loyalty Tax - UFS statement
iancognito replied to Union FS's topic in Leicester City Forum
Blue & White Kop definitely in that bracket -
I understand Rudkin is incompetent but it's only just July. You'd think we could get it over the line in 8 weeks 😆 We seem to have this thing with player announcements and marketing like we need two days to prepare a video montage for the next guy or Amazon haven't delivered a set of Uno cards for the interview or whatever.

TBH when I see fans heading for the exits at 79 mins middle management making poorly-thought out decisions and the club ripping off fans with a £25 tax, I don't understand it either. But when you see the guy celebrating in the corner with fans at the end of games and asking players to sleep over at Seagrave for team bonding it's tough to think he didn't understand the club somehow or that he was not a big part of the success here. If you didn't like him or his style fair enough but there's no need to make stuff up

Foxes Trust Update – Shirt Sponsorship
iancognito replied to Foxes_Trust's topic in Leicester City Forum
It's the people hiring those useless plebs. Just as it's the people advising Top. The board of directors. Aim your criticisms at not just the DOF or Sporting Director, whatever he is but the strategy diector, the finance director, the "general counsel" (Whatever TF that is). These are the people hiring the middle management and advising the owner. Top knows jack all about running a club. The useless plebs are being hired specifically for the fact they aren't football people or fans. That's a choice. And as a result poor decisions are being made. -

On the other hand he has a Fofana-esque season and goes for £60m next summer making the £15m look like chicken feed
-
He's 6 years younger than Vardy tbf We've signed him and Okoli (tbc) that's hardly scattergun and given our financial position we were never going to be fishing in the Champions League pond.
-
I like it. No frills, simplicity. White pinstripe away shirt for Albrighton 2017 vibes please.
-
The sponsor doesn't matter. Not a fan of the pacman logo, it's just asking for a meme-fest but I have no more of an issue with a gaming company sponsoring us than I did Benson & Hedges being on F1 cars or at The Crucible. If we were sponsored by Coke, it would be criticised for encouraging obesity, if it was Microsoft then there would be a Bill Gates backlash.
-
Bit early for this. There's going to be at least 3 or 4 new players yet. No point guessing til at least the week before the season.
-
Foxes Talk: At least the sponsor will never be worse than SpongeBob LCFC: hold my beer
-
Yeah they all said that with Doyle too and then went all weepy when he signed with us
-
I watched two or three people on title day going up & down the stands with them. The only benefit is that it might get a few off the concourses earlier and get an atmosphere going before 2.55 although I don't think our lot can be compared to the Turks or Albanians when it comes to behaviour in the stands.
-
The panic over kits every pre-season has surpassed the panic over new signings.Which is one massive reason to go back to 2 years per kit cycle. A few basic things always hold this up - they need players back in the country to model it for the various promos online and club shop flashes. A fair few are still on holiday or at tournaments or subject to bids from other clubs - the stock needs to be available - not always the case as we've found in recent years - we need a sponsor which isn't always straightforward - West Ham, Chelsea and Forest have started seasons in recent years without one. If you bear in mind we can't even supply working t-shirt cannons to Debbie, Sally and Tina at half time you can see how difficult co-ordinating those 3 things will be for our ever-incompetent middle management.
-
Almost forgotten him since Nelson came through. Undisclosed must mean there's some sort of fee but at least we're moving players on.
-
Fair play to him. It's a buyers market in June so it's a fair fee for a player with no caps.
-
It was all Enzo I think, the transfer fiasco was one of the "things he didn't like" and probably doesn't interest anyone who's come in since. But may be worth a short term deal on a free.
-
That is exactly how PSR has shaped things and exactly why the PL is now monitoring "good faith" deals between clubs that exploit it. You can't get profit off any deadwood players unless you get a United buying a Maguire or Man City taking a Mahrez.
-
So much potential for the half time giveaways. Cock rings and nipple clamps being fired out of the cannons into the family stand
-
He's here til '25 or until someone matches his crazy wages. If you're prepared to tell your country you're happier losing your place than taking a wage drop nothing Jonny boy offers him will change his mind

This should be pinned up somewhere at the top of the forum. Some of the comments I've read are misinformed, some are disrespectful, some are just plain childish bullshit from people still either upset about Enzo or upset about Potter. If you genuinely want to "give up your ticket" or even "make it toxic from day one" then stay away from the club and let the rest of us get behind the team AND Cooper.

You want to watch Enzo ball watch England.
iancognito replied to sylofox's topic in Leicester City Forum
Saw someone make a reference to this during the match earlier and I can only assume they never watched Enzo ball. England don't play it round at the back waiting to pick teams off, England for that matter barely put 3 passes together, there's no pacy wingers, no press and I wouldn't say the defence was solid either But yeah, just like Enzo ball 🙃 -
Group B: Spain, Croatia, Italy, Albania
iancognito replied to Mark's topic in General Football and Sport
Been genuinely impressed with Spain. A lot of previews and pundits said they were in transition and be lucky to make the semis but they look a proper side.
