  1. Did you watch any of that game today? Or even Bournemouth? For long periods of both we were second best, slow, lacking ideas and completely disjointed. Bournemouth on another day win 3 or 4-1. Saints lost their heads especially after the equaliser/ sending off. We were so poor in the first half you can't possibly have been happy? He's ruining a very good squad and turning us from a possession based, controlled side into.....whatever this clueless set-up is currently called. I'm not looking for negatives just pointing out the obvious.
  2. Based on?
  3. It's as positive as you can get based on that first half display. In spite of him of not because of him.
  4. Wanting Cooper out isn't like Radical Corbynism. Yes. I backed him to start with but I've seen nothing to think he's a positive addition to this side. We achieve despite him not because of him and nothing can prove otherwise. That first half as so many halves this season was awful. Grim, negative, clueless football that alienates players and fans. Can you really say you want him to stay???
  5. Welcome on board. Still plenty of seats on the bus, I got on a couple of stops ago.
  6. Even his missus has put a bench emoji in her good luck message
  7. In a title winning season he didn't assist once but was one of our best players through simply retaining possession. None of the players replacing Winks have done anything either. The difference - as demonstrated without him against Bournemouth - is that Winks keeps the ball. Ricardo doesn't need gradually introducing. He played virtually every game last season and was outstanding. He's barely touched the grass this season. Abdul should be starting with others coming on to box it off. 12 minutes of action in the last 3 games is nothing short of laughable. I was very much in favour of Cooper in the summer. He lost me after about 5 games. It's awful and there's no excuse for how we're setting up and playing, he's ruining what was a great squad.
  8. Looks like Winks is the latest established name to fallbout of favour. Our bench will be better the first XI at this rate. How anyone can look at this squad and think the starting XI is stronger with Ricky, Winks and Abdul benched is beyond me
  9. Yep 2. How many shots in total did we have and how many did they have? 19 to our 6. We were at home and didn't have a single corner kick. They had 9. If we're being generous, we rode our luck. On another day they bag 3 or 4. We cannot keep just allow our goal to be peppered. Between Palace and Arsenal we allowed over 50 shots at our goal. In a defensive set up that's incredibly poor.
  10. The question was about getting someone with creativity and forward thinking. Brighton certainly had that for 18 months and he turned a side that couldn't score under Potter into a free-scoring outfit. Would he join us? Why not ask him? Ranieri and Rodgers were out of our league until we asked them.
  11. No, he wanted them to spend some of the 262m they received in transfers on new players.
  12. How do you think we're staying up on the back of allowing the most shots against us and having the fewest shots/shots on target? That's just blind faith based on nothing. It's not even a case of people being miserable, this team is playing with the handbrake on De Zerbi
  13. Not. A. Chance. Fatawu is far too exciting for Steve. A maverick like that is capable of anything, perhaps even a goal. Best he stays on the bench.
  14. We've seen a few players drop off over the years like Dele Alli but Rashford's 2 year fall is incredible. At any other club he'd have been given away on a free.
  15. Not everything's a conspiracy. We'd be fuming if that was given against us and fans have moaned for 2 or 3 years about this un/natural thing. Either all ball to hand incidents are handball - similar to the way hockey does it - or it has to be left to common sense / interpretation which is where the whole inconsistency argument comes in.
  16. Message only went out on Thursday, there's going to be a few that didn't get it but it was still fairly decent at both ends. And it'll be better for the colder night games like Forest where people naturally bring one anyway
  17. Not sure it's a failure when all the title celebrations last season were focussed on that corner, it's pretty much recognised as the noisiest section of the ground. What I will say from sitting a couple of blocks away is that if it's going to pull more people in or just get more people involved, the constant drumbeat drowns out as much of the songs as the PA. People will join in with the C'mon Leicester stuff, the When Skies Are Grey etc but too often no matter what's happening in the game there's just a general thudthudthud, you're never going to get 5000 people knowing the words to "crazy but it's true" or "ole ole".
  18. There's a lot saying that we gave the ball away too easily but this is what happens when you don't have Winks in there, literally dropping deep to take the ball off the defence. Neither Skipp nor Ndidi like doing that. Winks hasn't had his best season but his job is to keep it neat and keep the ball. This half-baked system makes it almost impossible to do that. This side is crying out for Mads Ricardo........Okoli..............Faes.............Justin Skipp/Ndidi........Winks Fatawu.............. Buonanotte.............. Mavididi Vardy/Cannon But this guy just won't do it. Would rather player journeymen in safe positions than coach younger players and make them better. Not overly keen on JJ at LB but Kristiansen looks lost and has no idea when and how to play with Mavididi.
  19. Playing with the brakes on all season. Winning despite of not because of the selections.
  20. The honesty flags have gone all spiritual
  21. Faes MOTM Special mentions for Skipp and Facundo. Struggling to see the value of Eduoard, lightweight and no threat
  22. Immense today.
  23. This will end up being a Harvey Barnes style springboard for him. He should have been straight in that Puel side ahead of Ghezzal and Diabate instead of being loaned out to West Brom.
  24. The capacity hasn't been confirmed at 40k, mentions in some bits of the planning discussions for 42-43k. I'd imagine this is dependent on what they do for wheelchair/disabled supporters in the stands. If this is how long it's taken to get one stand consulted and decided, most of us may not be here for further extensions.
  25. I wish the Super League had gone ahead and given everyone else a more even playing field. With the right manager and mindset you can definitely compete (Villa under Gerrard Vs Villa under Emry for example) but it seems every owner values position over cup wins and every manager wants to play like Pep. And that's not fun for anyone.
