  1. Never mind the manager this squad needs to wake up. Too many with their shoulders dropped and heads hanging. Confidence is utterly shot, too many trying flicks instead of doing the basics. Could end up as low as fourth if they don't pick their games up.
  2. Not even on the bench
  3. Well Cannon would need to be on the pitch first. I'd back Vardy every time over Daka. Daka's movement is so poor he'd never get in a position to score.
  4. Probably because he's buried a fair few as well
  5. He wouldn't have been in that position to score. Would have been ten yards back on his heels.
  6. I take it you didn't contribute to the tifo then πŸ˜†
  7. Not like there's been zero speculation in the last 2 weeks. He wasn't being sold in Jan on the back of his shop window form. He looks knackered not disinterested.
  8. TBF he was immense at Chelsea but league-wise yep he's looked knackered
  9. No doubting we've surrendered the lead because of poor form but for 30 games we're so good we're talking points records. This happens to every football team, dips in confidence, form drops etc. Do you drop a successful style because of 4/5 bad games or do you try to get that confidence back? Bit late to be changing styles and formations when we're ΒΎ of the way through.
  10. The style of play which (as people are so fond of pointing out) had us 12/15/29 points clear at one stage. And which players are you switching? Of the bench there's only a nearly fit Ricardo for Hamza and Coady for Faes that I'd change.
  11. Modern football. Wait for something to happen, polite applause, go home. Sunday cricket.
  12. You're a whingerπŸ‘
  13. It's alright lads. Popeye's had his spinach πŸ˜‚
  14. What were you hoping for? A change of system during an international break?
  15. Kingy bench, Matty James (c) as usual. These are the games you put away if you want to win promotion. That 1 win in 5 narrative becomes unbeaten in 3 if we win this.
  16. I think if we get promotion and there's no further news on this you can pretty much assume they're either canning the idea or at least scaling it back. Clubs are allowed infrastructure improvements in their financial allowances (hence Everton's continuing construction at Bramley) so any sanctions or constraints we're under shouldn't otherwise affect it. To get as far as we did with consultations and ridiculously long planning schedules and then just leave it hanging doesn't make much sense.
  17. Think it got brought up at a trust meeting or similar and there was a line about whilst PL football wasn't essential for it to go ahead it would ensure a minimal subsidy from King Power if top flight football was in place. I know I haven't just made that up I definitely read it somewhere ☺️
  18. Given our recent history when the club have been hiding things and have been anything but open with supporters, when there have been stories about "we don't want too many Leicester's" and financial rules being changed in favour of the Super League 6 you can hardly blame fans for thinking that way. I don't know whether it's taking too long but you'd have thought the club would have wanted it concluding rapidly so they've at least got one controversy put to bed.
  19. Selling Winks would be pointless for the same reason because we need profitable sales. Impressive as he's been, I don't see many clubs offering more than we paid. This is why Chelsea are hawking round the likes Gallagher, Broja and Chalobah because they're 100% profit, and the reason the club would happily entertain bids for Keirnan or even Nelson. They would have loved for Alves or Braybrooke to get a run in the team this season because it would have put them in a shop window.
  20. You know what I used to say this a lot during our last spell in this league but honestly this season has reminded me about the bad stuff - the terrible officiating, the poor governance, the total anonymity and lack of exposure your games get. Players can score worldies and only a few hundred people that weren't at the game know about it. I admit the trip to Chelsea last week made me appreciate the Championship fan banter more over what you get at these tourist clubs but there's nothing like being at the top table. And I guarantee our kissing cousins up the A46 will confirm that after 23 years away.
  21. Stuck it on for a few minutes, gave up. We're still as exciting as rice pudding. International football in general is just a hard watch.
  22. Not sure why he'd walk. Where else does he go? Every single club, as proved by the January window, is getting bent over by these unworkable rules. If Wolves, Villa, Chelsea and rumouredly others are falling foul of the PSR then he's going to get this issue wherever he goes. There's pretty much only Brighton and Luton not putting the brakes on right now. Sure he didn't get funds in January but he was heavily backed last summer and if we get promoted he's at a PL club with a world class training facility. Don't think he swaps that for some broke Serie A also-ran.
  23. 1. We're not spending anymore 2. We're Leicester City we'll buy who we want 3. Shall we buy, shall we buy, shall we buy someone for you? Shall we buy some-one for you?
  24. A mix of the top 4 but there's a percentage of blame to the PL and EFL too for letting it get this out of hand. These rules should have been enforced for the last decade not just because the powers that be are wetting their pants about this new regulator. Now there's a backlog of cases, lawyers filling their pockets and total mistrust between the fans and the authorities that any of this is either fair or transparent.
