Twitter and socials in general are full of people who were at their first game or who took their kids for the first time which is what it's all about. There's also bound to be empty seats given how late the gen sale got sorted out and so many people budgeting these days. Bloke taking two kids is still £50+ so it's a bit judgy to decide it's a failure when you've no real idea of why people would or wouldn't be there. They're still in Europe, still high in the league, got something like £180m for Caicedo, McAllister and the keeper they flogged to Chelsea and have barely spent anything assembling the rest of their team. That Barco guy they signed was only £12m. Peanuts. Tony Bloom and Paul Barber are light years ahead of Top and Rudkin. These guys somehow got £60m for Marc Cucurella and then bought Estupinian for what? 10m ?They're regarded as the best run club in the PL and probably one of the models for most European clubs. They don't hand out ridiculous contracts to mediocre players or allow assets to leave on a free. They're pretty much what we used to be up to about 2020. As much as everyone loves KDH, thinks he's part of our future and all the rest of it, he's nowhere near a top 4 or top 6 team. I don't think he gets in any of those midfields. It'd be another Drinkwater situation. However much anyone turns their nose up at Brentford or Brighton, (see also Wolves or Fulham) those teams are the chasing pack, where we used to see ourselves for a while, it's not so much about the size, it's where those teams are at with their development and Brighton are very much on the up.

There's sense in what you say but there's absolutely no-one in L1 to lead that block, it's just a collection of like-minded blokes wanting to be near the away fans. A few will know each other, friends of friends and all that but it won't get people organised. The section has the advantage of UFS being a big part of the block.

Not really. With something like this - tweets aside - you have to look at all aspects of his previous behaviour. Missing training, Covid parties etc where the club has disciplined him are all part of that. It only looks like a witch hunt because he has got form for unprofessional conduct. No. Even with Southampton's form ours is almost as good and we have a 3 game head start. I don't see them winning 3 more games than us when they still have to play Leeds and Ipswich again themselves. Leeds away form is terrible. 6 defeats already. Ipswich have no striker without Hirst. Already addressed this in my previous answer but did you see the bed-wetting and wailing when a few people had to move their season tickets to create the current section? L block is STH only. You'd need to shift all of them to fit SK1 there. Apart from that SK1 has always been our end, the Kop, Pen One whatever you remember it as. L block is a manufactured area where a few blokes moved to to have a bit of banter with the away fans. SK1 really doesn't care about that, otherwise they'd have moved long ago.

Anyone saying they want to stay in L for the atmosphere is deluding themselves, the only atmosphere is hearing away fans singing "top of the league and you still don't sing" It's not even about being part of UFS or " not understanding their private songs" it's about getting the voices and backing together. Sing your own Leicester songs, get everyone joining in with those but if it stays like this the ground will be a morgue and we're already on our way to being Norwich or QPR.

You can literally say this about any point in any season. "The way we are going" - we're coming off a ten man loss to Cov and a draw with the team in 2nd that's lost fewer games than us all season! Prior to that we were unbeaten in 12 and took a 1 point lead over Ipswich to where it is now - 7 points. Even if we 'only' win 9 of our next 12 we'll still be ahead of Saints and that's IF they take maximum points. It's only in the last few weeks that we've even conceded more than one goal in a game. It's a non-stop unforgiving league. Saints won't stay unbeaten, we'll all drop points. But right now we need to drop 10 more than them, just for them to go level. Chill 😊
