  1. Needed a chipped finish, keeper lost his bearings again
  2. Great finish. Also, Don Goodman consistently the worst co-comms you'll ever hear
  3. When you win the league in November but find yourself in 4th after Boxing Day
  4. I didn't say 20k used them I said 20k were printed. Most of them are unused, it's just a waste. Continued popularity? They were dropped and forgotten, no-one asked for them back. The anti-clapper brigade is a majority, given that every other club that trialled them had negative feedback from fans. Unfortunately, we have a section of fans that think they're contributing something positive by slapping them randomly, probably the same ones who jump in the air like gameshow contestants trying to catch a cheap t-shirts. The most pitiful thing is the people trying to justify their continued presence who suddenly realise they are sitting in silence when they don't have their cardboard stick to feel relevant.
  5. We'd both be in the top 2 because that Pearson team was better than most of this league too. Championship has got worse in 10 years no doubt.
  6. Crooks still does his Team Of The Week crap on BBC Sport as if anybody cares about his worthless opinions. He was pretty out of order at the start of the season when he said he couldn't take Luton seriously as a Premier League team.
  7. I think people are enjoying it, massively, especially in the section where Enzo constantly comes across post-game to show his appreciation. What people can't understand is why everyone else clearly isn't enjoying it enough to stay til the end. You go for the exit at 84/85 mins, you're missing 10% of the game at least and a specific period where the team statistically scores a big percentage of it's goals. It wasn't like this, certainly not this bad, in previous promotion seasons. The beat the traffic thing is a completely lame excuse. We leave at the whistle and we're off and away in the car ten mins later, even if sometimes it requires a side street or two to miss the jams. Who really needs that extra ten mins to watch The Weakest Link or get their dinner on earlier? As for the clappers, if they were that incredible the other 91 clubs would have them. They don't, they find them laughable. You want to use one, fine, bring an old one but it's still a bit senseless to force mobile ticketing into the mix because its a greener option and then print out 20k+ bits of cardboard every fortnight..
  8. I was in J and K a lot during the last Championship promotion and it was jumping in there even during some of the duller affairs. I just think it's the way it's going, especially our fan base and the anti-climax of pretty much anything since the title and UCL season.
  9. Thought Faes was exceptional today, was more of an 8 than KDH at times, was the extra man that they couldn't pick up. 8 for him 7s for the rest, even Mads who had a cigar out for most of the game.
  10. Thing is, we're a couple of blocks from Sk1 and can hear them loud as anything, we can't hear the away fans unless they're one of the louder mobs like Newcastle or Leeds. There's rarely a reaction towards the away singing because it's not that audible. People leaving early doesn't surprise me, after all thousands of people sat on their hands and didn't make a sound as we slumped to relegation last season, so they're never going to shout their loudest about a successful side. 2 old farts behind me actually asked me to sit down whilst Daka was taking his penalty. So I did. When they stood up to celebrate I turned round and asked permission to do the same. It's becoming a rugby ground. Polite applause only.
  11. Because the fixture computer isn't so much a computer as two or three blokes amending the previous season's fixture list. I've never believed in curses or somehow jinxing things especially in football with so many players, managers and tactics changing over so many years. A link just isn't possible but that record, even allowing for a few games against top clubs, is horrendous.
  12. My dear old mum God rest her soul was right about many things, including the treatment he received that day being disgusting. Up until that point all the pressure had been on Martin George and the board to back Little or resign and George took the only way out he could buy leaking all the details of the Villa approach to the media before the Villa game and turn every man woman and child against him. I remember coming back from that game and she was fuming "that smug bastard" had shit on Little after all the work he'd put in over 4 years and that I'd had anything to do with it. I'm glad he went on to have a decent career afterwards and that he's still involved a bit with Villa. After Pearson and O'Neill, he's still in my top 3 managers in the last 35 years.
  13. In theory or by another name all of those things are already in place through the domestic and Champions leagues apart from the regulatory side which FIFA and UEFA have shown they're completely incapable of being. I don't want the likes of Perez controlling the game but equally Infantino has been proven to be just as corrupt as Blatter before him. And there's no way these clubs are doing it for the greater good of filtering money into the pyramid. They already complain about the percentages they give to the grass roots. They're doing it to shore up their own accounts and revenue streams. I doubt any of the owners or chairmen involved have ever watched any football match below a top flight level.
  14. Att for Millwall was 28k and gaps everywhere. Other attendances have been given as 31k+ but anyone with eyes can see rows of seats in the stands
  15. The thing is, he's a right back. At Luton in league one he was a right footed left back and looked quite accomplished. In the PL, even the top players like Walker, Trippier and James aren't asked to play on their weaker side because they get caught out by top attackers. Yet because of his injuries and us having Castagne and Ricky in the RB role, he got shoehorned into LB again. Goal against Stoke aside he didn't look that comfortable there. Now under Enzo we don't really have proper full backs so again he's having to play a new role and on his weaker foot. In a way I feel sorry for him, similar to Mendy, that because of circumstances we just never got to see in their proper position at their peak. But eventually, he'll need to adapt or he'll be replaced and moved on.
  16. Four months out, no pre-season and still getting used to the style, his team mates and his role. I know this goes against the Leicester fan habit but he needs time and patience because we'll need him in January.
  17. 53 was safe last season and we have 55. Just 😁 If Enzo goes to Forest to replace Copper and we see out the season with Alan Pardew as manager we'll still be okay
  18. Sounded decent but always hard to tell on the telly mikes and effects that phase in and out
  19. Midfield shape is all wrong, KDH wide has cut the supply to the front men and done Birmingham's job for them
  20. Oh my God. That Colin W@nker advert 🫣
  21. It'll be exactly this. Sk1 or 2/ G corner will be safe standing. Persistent standing elsewhere will be zero tolerance until the message gets across. Silly because half the grounds you see have large swathes of people standing up in seated areas, Elland Rd being a classic example. The few people in L1 who do want to create a bit of noise will end up with almost no choice but moving to the section.
  22. I wanna tell you I might as well do About a boy who can do anything Bought by Maresca To play for Leicester Harry Winks Harry Winks Harry Winks
  23. The greater thing for us is their next two games. The Old Farm derby and Leeds away. If we get maximum pts Vs Brum and Rovrum we could be on for a great Christmas.
  24. That one's finally gone tonight. Got to be honest Millwall (h) wasn't where I imagined we'd lose it though 😁
