I’ve always thought this ‘Top doesn’t care’ view was an exaggeration and he’s simply out of his depth trusting the wrong people. I’ve started to turn though. The relegation two years ago, as much of a diabolical slow motion train crash it was, could in some ways be excused as an anomaly (that’s not my personal opinion) But for it to happen twice in 3 seasons? The Top and Rudkin laughing photo from the weekend has grated on me the more I think about it. The ‘confirmed our place in the Championship’ SM post by way of acknowledging our relegation The lack of statement this week Tops ownership is like being in a relationship where your other half puts all the nice stuff up on Facebook, but completely rejects and refuses to work on all the flaws of the relationship behind closed doors 😂 That plane banner came at absolutely the right time (if too late) and there should be not one ounce of remorse or regret from anyone who chipped in to fund it.

Thats precisely what Top and Rudkin have done themselves. Nobody thought a plane banner would force Top to act. Nobody. What it was designed to do was to spark conversation on a wider scale and bring about a better public awareness on all their failings. Your daft video defending them has helped do that, so thanks!

This was the whole point of the plane banner. Not so Top could see it and act (because it’s deluded to think he would) But to ‘raise awareness’ and to start conversations and considerations in the wider media. I want the general football public to know that we’re no longer ‘the best run club in the country’ who’ve just got a bit unlucky. It relies on articles like this and Henry Winter on his podcast to fill in the gaps a plane banner can’t. Reading much of the social media about this since KO yesterday is just depressing. You’ve fans of other clubs who think it’s deluded, and that’s not helped by the majority of LCFC fans on Facebook saying ‘not in my name’ I’ve come to the realisation that you can’t argue with stupid, and stupid (and brainwashed) is what they are.
