  1. Mads value depreciating in the summer with all these hammerings
  2. Rejected by Burnley linked to Coventry along come the prem team suckers
  3. Permanent ban and pair of spectacles for those that say he deserves a chance to rebuild or can see what he is trying to achieve with his “system”
  4. Imagine writing on here that you want to see what this ***** can do with a summer of spending worst manager in the history of the club
  5. “But cooper had mads and ndidi”
  6. Probably wants a pay off
  7. Should be sacked if we lose, should be sacked if we fail to score for a 6 consecutive home game.
  8. Apparently was interviewed for the Burnley job last summer before they picked Parker
  9. I’m sure every manager would like to bring 11 new players in, most are not afforded the time to lose game after game and then get the chance. what exactly is his system? What Cooper staff are you referring to, as it’s only a gk coach that remains and he has already been superseded by RVN choice of coach. Lets reverse the “Cooper damage” by giving a manager that is hanging on to his job by his fingernails the following summer window and then when we inevitably gets sacked we are even worse off with other set of players that are niche to his desired “system”.
  10. Are we to give him credit for reintroducing a player that he alienated for 11 games that was part of the defence that kept the only clean sheet of the season and picked up 7 points from the 8 games he started, instead opting for Coady (a player that could barely get a sniff in out championship team) for 10 games that saw us concede 21. Just as he has missed key players in Mads and Ndidi, he has failed to utilise Okoli and Facu on a horrendous run of results which is another red flag.
  11. In which case, they would’ve gone all out in January to stay up. Premier league status maximises the selling price
  12. It’s also not quite as straight cut as being lied to, there are lots of variables and the situation is constantly changing. Moving certain players on, the right players being available. Prices for those players. Once the window had shut, RVN said the following and why would he lie? Especially as a manager with a history of stepping down with immediate effect, due to lack of support within a club. The reality is not always as you wish," said Van Nistelrooy. "I was part of the picture and the communication so it didn't come as a surprise, the development from November to the end January, reality set in. "What we have to deal with, the opportunity and restrictions go hand in hand. "The idea was that there were certain possibilities, but when the numbers came on the table they were different. We had to reassess, look at possibilities within that framework. "We weren't able to get them. Simple fact. That is the reality. We tried but the focus was on impact players to strengthen the squad. We did with Coulibaly, we were able to strengthen, but other possibilities weren't possible. "I am quite pragmatic, get on with it, get the most out of what we have, there is young talent."
  13. I wasn’t justifying the reason we are in this predicament, just answering why it’s not been a focal point for the other 2 promoted clubs
  14. Because the situations are completely different, we had built a squad for Europe and at one stage trying to push on and get top 4. The fallout from that was a lot of players on high wages that we struggled to shift, players running down their contracts and the highest wage to turnover ratio in the league for the 22/23 season. Last season Southamptons net spend was plus £150m after relegation and Ipswich had a league one squad a year before.
  15. Unfortunately he can’t play us every week
  16. It’s amazing how players look a lot better after a winning run, yet if the same question were asked when Dyche was in control and they were only a point in front people were saying how shit they were. Good managers get a tune out of players a bit like Moyes an underperforming Beto.
  17. Yeah but what can’t be agued is we are in the the decline, as opposed to results improving 9 losses from 10 worst points return and worst goal difference and that is criminal when you have the likes of Ipswich and Southampton to compete with at the very least
  18. 3 games without a goal or assist before he scored against Brentford, prior to that 2 goals and an assist in his previous 3. Him off the boil is still better that what others have produced
  19. Not been fortunate under RVN no? already highlighted the 7 points were fortunate
  20. When you consider that Facu was one of the only bright sparks early on in the season and looked like a game changer. It’s odd he has been alienated.
  21. if by all you mean Steve Cooper's backroom staff at Leicester City included Alan Tate, Andrew Hughes, and Danny Alcock. Cooper was the manager of Leicester City until he was fired in November 2024. Former staff members Alan Tate: Assistant manager who left Leicester City along with Cooper Steve Rands: First team coach and analyst who left Leicester City along with Cooper So just Alcock, who was probably superseded by RVN bringing in his own goalkeeping coach
  22. Last 12 games compared to the first 12 20% More goals conceded 40% Less goals scored 25% less points 9 defeats from 10 Must of missed something
  23. What’s that go to do with the fact that the hopelessness and despair has come watching RVN team lose most weeks show less attacking and defensive qualities than the predecessor. Everyone knew it would be a struggle, but the points he has amassed so far would have him earning about 20 for the season. Which puts us in the lower echelons of some of the worst teams ever in the league
  24. We were able to score goals so the momentum of that, just like how the team still carried hallmarks of coopers tactics by conceding a record amount of shots. We have subsequently seen what RVN style of play looks like and it is not reminiscent of those 2 early performances
  25. It could also be argued that it was Coopers momentum in those first few games as RVN hadn’t been with the team long and didn’t have any coaches in with him and we have seen the real performances over the last 10
