The World Health Organisation advise against using fans at temperatures above 35°C.
This is because fans work by blowing away warm air around your body that is already close to body temperature and replacing it with cooler air, helping your body to lose heat.
If the air blowing into you is almost as hot or hotter than your body it could actually increase your body temperature.
