Any time, DM if you want.

So transparent you can see straight through him.

From the pics I've seen @jgtuk's garden is a field.

Good to know you can't end it all. Keep that to the front. I think the hot weather doesn't help (harder to sleep and less sleep isn't good). Have you considered you might be bi-polar, if the mood change can be so sudden? Obviously I'm no expert - I always thought that a bipolar person has manic episodes in contrast to the downs, but apparently not always so. Take care buddy, try and rest up. Drinking plenty of water will help I reckon. I'm a big believer in getting plenty of water being a simple health guideline which in terms of cost and effort, gives a massive return.

I knew how it was pronounced before I saw it spelt. Spelt, on the other hand...

Flying/not flying a flag doesn't mean anyone is/isn't being discriminated against. It just means you've got a flag pole and it's being used.

I've burnt all my programmes from that era. What happened?

You do see this though. Lots of parks and woodland leave cut down branches around in areas set aside for just this activity. Also in many ways, Minecraft and it's ilk have replaced this.

This smacks of Bay of Pigs. Then they attacked Cuba thinking that the people would rise up against their leaders. Didn't happen, operation failed. Similarly they're expecting people to rise up in Iran, except they're killing so many of them they're achieving the opposite.

Do they play Polo in The Wash? (Little history joke there - and yes, I know it's possibly not true).

Sorry, above was reply to this.

The old That Was The Week That Was (I think it's from?) sketch with John Clease, Ronnie Barker and Ronnie Corbett ("I look down on him") needs an extra person smaller than Corbett these days.

I found another video about it...

Tbh, I'd welcome a decrease in temperature. Though I realise it would come with a massive and sudden increase in temperature first.

Receptionists. When I started doing delivery to firms, everyone had a receptionist and I got to know most of their names, didn't need to ask them when I needed a signature. Nowadays I turn up to an empty room and if I need a signature often have to wait 2-3 mins until someone comes out. That's practically every business I visit.

Not sure there's any point appointing a new manager if this carries on much longer.
-
Which is what happened last time. Didn't work well. In many ways I'd prefer a manager who keeps us decent next season, not necessarily play offs, but thereabouts, builds a rapport with Leicester, gets us up the 2nd season in not too spectacular fashion, so doesn't get poached, and then comfortably keeps us in the EPL 3rd season and having a history with the club. Recently it's been boom or bust.

People always say, "it's much quicker than going somewhere in the UK", but by the time you add in all the things you mention (plus traveling to the airport and parking your car and getting into the airport) it really isn't. You spend more time doing those things than actually flying, if you're going anywhere in Europe.

European football is getting increasingly devalued.

Tbh, this is across the board since covid. You could do internet banking during lockdown? Fine, no more need for branch offices! You could work from home? Great, no more need for offices. You could speak to people on screen? Great, no more need for in person services. You got by with 30 staff cos 10 of your usual 40 are safeguarding? Great, 30 staff it is then. Customer service across the board, especially for the elderly and disabled, is going the way of the dodo.

https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c79e2n79gyvo You know it makes sense! I'd also argue for new builds to have a parcel safe, given how many people get parcels nowadays

I'm of the mind that this isn't the worst option, not by a long shot.

It's the only -philia @Raj doesn't agree with

Saw a leaf-cutter bee in our garden today carrying a piece of leaf nearly as big as itself.
