Did anyone else just hear that rousing rendition by the England fans of God save the Queen/King? -
I've heard that our whole transfer stratagem is getting Messi, so I'll have a fiver on Lionel thanks.

You need to be a certain age, but funny.

Forget Welcome to Wrexham, @kushiro should write and direct Look Out M'duck, It's Leicester. -
Just imagine how Rishi Sunak feels! Seriously though, just talk to people about your doubts, people you trust to be honest with you. I do think this modern trend of people not being critical to avoid hurting others leads to people having self doubt when someone does commend them, in a sort of, "you're just saying that," way. So you don't believe in yourself. Of course there's the saying, "you're your own worst critic," because you are 100% there when any mistake happens. Most people either don't notice or just occasionally notice and probably think they're worse than you because they're 100% there for their own mistakes, which you don't always see. Anyone who thinks they never make mistakes is a moron. I think most discerning people get imposter syndrome from time to time.

Yeah, it's not impossible that all these things were happening on her watch and she saw that connection and started blaming herself. Maybe someone who was more to blame psychologically manipulated her and convinced her it was her fault. Maybe it was just plain incompetence that she couldn't bring herself to admit to publicly, but harboured deep self-loathing at her cowardice to admit it (which would be manslaughter?) All highly unlikely, but not impossible. So you're quite right about the death sentence, which can never be rescinded. I've sat on a couple of juries (coroners and criminal) and on one (don't expect any details) there was one guy in the jury who from the get go was full on torch and pitchfork lynch mob, despite 11 other people deciding that any evidence was tenuous at best and the prosecution made very little sense, and yet he remained so through the whole trial. Which has always made me very aware how differently people can see stuff. Oh, and btw ... the lynch mob guy wasn't me

Surely we all know that.

Just like to say. I'm currently still delivering a lot of election material at the moment (along with the post, I'm not a canvasser!), yet when I empty the pillar boxes later there's already hundreds of postal votes in there

Crazily, in group E, every team could finish with more points than Italy and not go through. I can also see Slovenia beating us to make Italy sweat. -
Hopefully he's recovering from a Latvian stag-do.

Pfft! What does he know about football? You said yourself, he's a Forest fan.

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'

Kind of reminds me of what I used to do on old versions of Football Manger. Play two teams and get Arsenal to buy Junior Lewis for £40m + Thierry Henry. -
I like to swap the wrappers round of my wife's chocolate bars. It really gets her snickers in a twix.

It's not new. We've had it for years, I'm quite attached to it.

The new plastic bottle lids that stay attached to the bottle (to aid recycling supposedly) which make pouring and drinking that much more fiddly. It's supposed to be to keep the lid with the bottle for recycling, but seriously?! Are people really that inept that they can't keep a bottle lid with it's associated bottle? I can count the number of times I have irrecoverably separated a bottle from it's lid on the fingers of zero hands. I wonder if the people this is aimed at also have their gloves tied together on a long string? And yes I know the solution. Just pull the lid off completely, which is what I do, thereby invalidating the efforts to introduce completely unnecessary answers to problems that don't exist!

Did anyone else see Kasper advising Bellingham to join Leicester after the game?
