To be fair, it's commonly held that there's only 7 different basic plot scenarios.

Classic tale of life imitating art if (when?) this all goes bang.

That's kind of what I'm saying.

It was 35.3% two years ago, not hugely different. Denmark, Finland, Sweden , Belgium and Austria all have ratios of 40%+. They're also amongst the ten happiest nations in Europe. My guess is that it's less about how much tax you pay and more about how well it is used. For instance, in high tax countries that work, there's less reliance on charity. In the UK there are 170,862 charities, that's approximately one charity per 400 people, which is ridiculous.

The thing is that the TFR is NFT to the GBR and that means that capital RTN is almost negligible to the WWF and that's not even accounting for the KLF whose gross OMD is ten times the output of the ELO when you add on the ADHD and PSR, though, of course, you don't factor in the RSVP factor, not the IDF, which would compound the C3PO, not to mention MOT and OMG.

Usually you're shopping at Farm Foods because you can't afford better.

Baked beans served in a ramekin. Just put them on my plate instead of making me pick up a red hot mini dish and tip it out myself.

Have it before the start of the financial year, so everyone knows where they stand, with no changes halfway through.

Fair enough. It's a shame we don't have entrepreneurs like that now though.

You know who built those? Rich people. Nothing to do with government.
-
This is so true. So long as the money gets spent (and it typically does, every last penny) it becomes income for someone else and tax for the government (VAT). High earners typically have millions lying around in either bank accounts or assets, contributing nothing except to themselves. It's like only poor people giving blood, whilst the rich have stored cats full of the stuff, just in case they get a little nick.

The uncertainty of this has hamstrung us for the past 3 seasons. No decent manager or player wants to come here and we've had to be cautious in our spending. Yes, our fault for getting in that situation, but the EPL/EFL have only compounded it. How does that help stop clubs from going bust?

People moaning about any budget like they're a victim and the only person going to be affected.

Next year the UK will be playing in Africa.

In House of Games I often find I can answer the high brow, but I'd have no idea with the low brow.

He's like my bro-in-law, who thinks you're "woke" (a term I hate) if you're offended by the use of the word P***I.
