  1. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Nein, niet, non, nay, nope, negative, never, anti-yes, non-affirmative, not on your nelly, nah. Maybe my state education wasn't very good, but I am aware that the words Public and Private are in fact antonyms, they have opposite meanings. So how can public schools be private schools, and vice versa (my state education allowed for a little Latin, quod erat demonstrandum.) be the same thing!? I have always just drawn the conclusion that attendees thereof are just really thick, but privilege is privilege, so, y'know .
  2. Depends if they know where I live.
  3. Are we back to fairground carnies again?
  4. What about public schools? NB, I've never understood this

  6. Another step towards the Costa del Melton.
  7. Indeed. Trump might be a really nice guy.
  8. It seems that it's quite en vogue to accuse people of whataboutery at the moment, so ... Trump to order probe into Epstein's alleged ties to Clinton and banks - BBC News https://share.google/KpVBvpptaTp5Hrzhy
  9. I've always thought that Unknown Pleasures was a better album.
  10. In many ways first name on the team sheet if fit.

  14. Surely this should be in the LCFC forums?
  15. I think Susie Dent being on it is great, certainly not surprising. Think that she will enjoy it and be good at it.
  16. In fairness though, fairground rides are pretty dangerous.
  17. And Champion of Champions (which was to be expected) means the return of one of my favourites, Sam Campbell!
  18. In case you've ever watched John Woo's Hollywood debut movie Hard Target and thought, what a ridiculous premise... Italy probes claim that tourists paid to go to Bosnia to kill besieged civilians - BBC News https://share.google/K8HDstswDLctFdOvY
  19. It's a handy counter-punch for the Beeb. Fair play to them. They're reporting this as expected and therein lies the problem with commercial news services. In the position the Beeb are in, they could be leveraged into playing the story down.
  20. Kinky!
  21. Watched the last Mission Impossible movie last night, Final Reckoning. What a let down for a great series. Bloated, overlong and basically rehashing stuff they've done before. The ending in particular is pure cheese. This message will self-des... oh, wait... damp squib.
  22. Alex Cox used to have a slot on BBC called Moviedrome in which he would give a brief forward of many excellent Art House movies then play said movie. Introduced me to so many great films, Cape Fear (the original), Assault on Precinct 13 (again, the original), Yojimbo, Excalibur, Man hunter... the list goes on.
  23. Could you imagine an episode of Would I Lie To You with Donald Trump on it?
  24. Au contraire. Collins and The Times agrees. TELEVISION CHANNEL definition and meaning | Collins English Dictionary https://share.google/GWVutrH7GQ6Q4WvyB Pretty much all the UK dictionaries give the definition of a channel as being a station and therein all it's media. TV channels don't just show live broadcasts. They all have catch up services. I never said you can watch live TV, you twisted my words. You should go into politics.
