  1. Andre probably had the higher ceiling but Jordan has carved out arguably a longer / more consistent career at a good level. If you had to take one in 2024 it'd probably be Jordan, but tbh you'd rather have neither.
  2. Good to hear you on form brother @Ric Flair
  3. "People are angry" is a complete throwaway defence for that behaviour during the most heartbreaking of ongoing tragedies. Plenty of people, I'm sure, are "angry." What on earth was that mob hoping to achieve tonight beyond making the deaths of 3 little girls all about themselves?
  4. Knocked for six by how unbelievably sad that Southport news is. Can't comprehend what people must be going through
  5. And he was pretty shite in his last couple of seasons too, when he could be arsed to play.
  6. I'm a Lucky Saint boy on the 0%er front, maybe because I don't drink lager that much so I'm no connoisseur
  7. I don't disagree with either of these by the way - as mentioned I think they're broadly being idiots and having a negative effect on their cause — was a genuine question as to how they get people engaging with climate change in a way that doesn't make people think they're prats
  8. I think they're ****ing idiots but they're caught between a rock and a hard place a little bit. By and large, your every man is simply not taking climate change remotely seriously enough, and I include myself in that. Not nearly enough are engaging with any kind of climate change propaganda (for want of a better word). They want people to take notice of it as an issue – how do they do it in a non-antagonistic way when it goes over so many people's heads? That's what they need to figure out and its a borderline impossible task.
  9. AND EVERY DISCO I GET IN MY HEART IS PUMPING FOR LOVE
  10. I don't think it's particularly outrageous and sacking is arguably a bit much, but its a joke I genuinely thought went out of date about thirty years back. Just feels like such a tired, worn out and unnecessary thing to crowbar into swimming commentary.
  11. Does he still tweet like he's writing a haiku? Leicester. Serious interest in Ayew. A rolling stone gathers no moss.
  12. Not even in my top 3 Jordans 1. Michael Jordan 2. Jordan the country 3. Ex lad's mags favourite Jordan (repackaged from 2004 onwards as Katie Price)
  13. Just listened to The Second Tier pod for some nostalgia "Wunt it... Justin"
  14. Championship sides are diving into both these leagues too. Bit too outside the box for us, though.
  15. It won't be Ten Hag first, not after they've kept him on this summer – unless someone Ratcliffe really wants becomes available. I'd argue his spot currently is the most comfortable it's been since INEOS got involved. I don't really think Chelsea's fans will stand a bad start from Maresca, especially given his CV is quite light. There's no proven top-flight track record to point to if things are turning a bit sour. That said, it's probably a three way affair between us, Southampton and Forest isn't it.
  16. The Triestina kits are absolutely a bit of Miquel – Kappa are always GOATed but this year they're absolutely churning them out
  17. Just done my first 10km in about three months and **** me, I look like my avatar r n
  18. See you in a couple of months with Tom you pervert x
  19. We drew 0-0 with Mansfield in one of, if not the, worst game I've ever seen live in preseason before we went and won the bloody league. We might well be shite but stop being a fanny on the basis of 45 mins of a friendly
  20. Imo Rutland Arms, Bath Hotel, Fagans and Shakespeare's (and that's only from what I did today, all revisits and all class) up there with any in the country but the vibe of the place is always great I think. You've got three or four fantastic little pockets and it's a friendlier city than Leeds or Manchester for my money
  21. I wouldn't worry about it man, pre season teams are always all over the shop
  22. The Car might be taking silver for me now behind Suck It and See in terms of replay value — not sure if it's nostalgia attached to a gig but the Emirates on the floor last year in the heatwave was perfect. Mirrorball and Perfect Sense are so good
  23. Read this in a Texas accent
  24. People are forgetting that The Right Manager Can Get A Player Out Of Soumare despite the fact the bloke moves like Han Solo after he comes out of Carbonite
