Recently reopened as The Highland Laddie from the people who own the excellent Empire Cafe in Leeds. Heard nothing but good things since it reopened, lovely stuff. --- Agree with Cosbeh's shout re: The Pocket, lovely gaff. Duke of St Albans up Highgate / Kentish Town is fantastic too. Recently did the Palm Tree in Mile End for the first time and what a gaff that is by the way. Trying a few newuns for me at the end of the month, eyeing up The Sultan and the Trafalgar down Wimbledon / Colliers Wood way.

Replacing a well paid radio personality with anyone is a positive tbh. Dawson is past his best but Coady has been a horrible waste of cash. If it's the only way we can feasibly get him off the books I don't really care or understand the outrage.

The way our social / internal media teams quiz playing staff is bizarre. When Cooper had just arrived they nudged him towards making the most sycophantic comments about the ownership to the point he said something like "you can feel he has an aura." It always seemingly has to go beyond the classic throwaways of "yeah good conversations, good project" etc.
