honestly, Faes has been a massive problem there too… he’s absolutely awful at his positioning and has pulled Justin all over the park in trying to cover for him. Justin is no world beater, but I really hope we play a tighter game with those both in the game and try and catch them on the counter. We really need to play a bit more defensively with these in the team as Ipswich will be well up for it today…

Ok so scratch that.. having just checked, we have 15 political parties represented in parliament. Some are just regional though, specific to some areas of Northern Island. .

I’m not that clued up on the intricacies of forming a UK government. Can we go full on Israel style and have 14 different political parties in Parliament and have a ruling coalition? I definitely don’t like the American system of two main political parties only, but I’m not sure I would like it to be diluted down too much either like in Israel…. I just don’t like the idea of electing a prime minister who gets such a small amount of the votes that were cast….

Just to add an angle to some discussions… I think there might be some gains for Musk in his bromance with Trump. Neither of them would be ‘ in it’ unless it was on benefit. For musk, I would expect to see something related to the future eve of his business empires. I don’t think it will just be financial/ tax breaks.. he has more than enough of that. If he gets elected, I’d expect Grump to set some policies in place that could expand the electric car market or make gains with preferred licensing within the space exploration business. there has to be something in it for Musk..

So I’m beginning to think that it’s looking a bit grim for the Dems. For a few reasons. This poll was done by ABC news. Network and they are rated as left leaning. News networks seem to produce polls that somewhat flatter their political preferences. Also most polls are not able to reach the rural support that is overwhelmingly right leaning. Especially in the swing states. With that in mind, ABC has Trump up 62-31 in the swing states. That’s very significant. It must be said that the 3 Dem states have a noticeably smaller leader than in 2020 too and considering that both in 2016 and 2020 Trump has had more votes than the polling suggested ( because of the rural votes) then I see it as looming very grim for the Dems.

Trump campaign can’t really distance themselves from that comment- they and they alone are the ones invited him and you are 100% responsible for what goes on at your own rally…

So the comedian who was at trumps Rally called Puerto Rico a floating island of trash. No bueno. Even Trumps campeign distanced themselves from that comment. But then Biden, who claims he misspoke, shot back saying “ the only garbage he sees are his supporters” cue outrage from the trump team and the MAGA brigade. Later that day Trump is seen doing an interview wearing a high vis jibber sitting in a refuse lorry that was mildly entertaining.

Nice big fine, which he can pay and he’s helped to influence a few things brazenly and openly. And without any noticeable comeback for him..
