To be honest I don’t care who goes up with us just as long as it isn’t Leeds!!

I think having a law to reduce the amount of nicotine that is ADDED would be a great way to empower those who DO want to quit, to manage to do so.

Instead of trying to ban smoking.. would it not be better to introduce regulations that reduce the ... potency? of the cigarettes to make it less damaging? or maybe to have regulations in place that reduce the nicotine levels to make it easier to quite should someone want to?

my concern with some of the harder substances is the link to domestic violence and crime.

it at least shows the opinions of some Doctors and a swell of opinion can bring about policy change. and you are right as of right now it can’t be implemented. And that’s because smoking is not illegal so no ban would stand up in court.

My concerns with cocaine are not so much someone’s personal choice ( even if I do consider it ‘ wrong’ myself), it’s the evidence that proves cocaine use , in general, can be linked with crime and criminal tendencies and violent behavior.

I totally get what you are saying… put you can’t take national insurance contributions from people for years and then later down the line withhold care from people when they need it. i mean, let’s be honest… this is what it’s all about. The financial strain on the NHS… if they make smoking illegal they can then claim they have a legal right to explain why they withhold care for smoking related illnesses.

so i'm assuming that the reason this is all coming about is not actually that the government has a personal interest in an individuals health and well being but is more to do with a concern that smoking related diseases bring about a financial strain on the NHS. But again, if the government are happy to take a national insurance contribution from you with no questions asked, i dont see how they can justify asking questions about your personal health choices..

So i have never smoked. Not even once. not even as a teenager. I cant stand it personally.. But i do question a governments right to tell you whether you can smoke or not.

fiscally, I believe it’s the model they would like to strive for…

but it’s wether they’d come and wether we can afford their wages.

I don't think that its that no one wants to say anything, i just think we have all formed a nice orderly queue to complain and the person at the front is taking their time, that's all.

But yes, we would need some better players if we went up to make a go of it... losing Madders and Barnes took away some of our attacking spark and we havnt really got a striker who would be up for it.. so i wouldn't judge our suitability to make a go of it in the prem with our current set of players.

I do think we have had more than enough quality to go straight back up... but i also think that Enzo has got us playing a system that is more suited to the prem than the championship. quality should always prevail but i felt like we needed some more grafters and more no nonsense defenders to be truly successful in the champ. Feels like we have been muscled out of games too often

I dont disagree with any of this but i also agree with her that Trump was tougher on a world level than Biden was despite his own incompetency. He was actually volatile enough for other countries to be concerned with what buttons he would press.

3 of the last 4 games are at home and we’ve done a little bit better at home than on our travels recently. It was the other way round earlier in the season but hey ho..

there started to be a few comments coming in that started to wish certain people were dead. It might be something different but I remember thinking a few comments were particularly distasteful..
