  1. you can’t help but love Holloway. Was ahead on the cards and set to win but wanted to go toe to toe with him and slug it out. RESPECT.
  2. 5-0 defeat on the cards then
  3. I’d start with Cannon. I mean, what do we have to lose?
  4. If it can count towards this years finances, then you’d be right..
  5. What did I miss?
  6. Spare a thought for Brentford... allegedly turned down a 70 million offer for Ivan Toney last summer and might be selling for 40 million this summer

yeah ignore me chap i take life way too seriously. . for someone who has been on FT for so long, im still no closer to being able top interpret exactly what people are saying!
  8. So my dad is in his mid 70s. He's at that age where his body is failing him a little bit ( he uses a mobility scooter) but he remains fiercely independent. He has decided that living with family is not an option for him and we have to respect that. He lives out in Coalville but would like to move closer to family into the City of Leicester and the Glenfield Hospital due to his heart problems. He already has a small 1 bedroom ' council bungalow' in Coalville and so the City Council have told him he's not a priority as he already has safe and warm accommodation. Fair enough really. He's looking for either a 1 bedroom bungalow, or he'd accept a warden assisted place where he can still cook for himself and somewhere that would let him keep his small dog. He'd rather be homeless than be separated from his dog. He still wants to drive and visit people and wants somewhere he can take his dog outside.. and ideally wants to dig a small hole, rest for 5 minutes and have a cupper, plant a small plant, rest for 5 minutes and finish his cuppa. pull a weed or two, rest have a cuppa.. and repeat the cycle. What are his options? he won't make it on to a city council list and he really wants a place where he can go outside.. He's ex-armed forces and he'd rather drive off a bridge than give up his independence... If anyone has any advice on where we can look or any warden assisted or independent ground floor flats in the area, id be grateful to know of them!
  9. I'm not really sure what you mean when you say this.... Every single manager in the league wants players to play the way he has set them up to play and will tell the players this is the 'right way'. You don't play the way the manager wants and you'd be out the team.

It's possible of course that these people were cherry picked for this photo.. and im sure if we actually looked at the numbers we'd see a massive weight change between then and now.. but im sure you know that.
  11. im pleased i.... had what it takes to get this one right! Wordle 1,031 3/6 ⬜🟨⬜🟩⬜ 🟨🟨⬜🟩⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  12. People are baying for blood after half a season with Enzo yet pearson would need 3 seasons minimum to get us back to where we need to be Also in the early Pearson days, i think people forget just how awful the football was..
  13. Not really any need for a comment like that? let someone have their fun and move on to a thread that interests you..
  14. Pearson can hardly walk these days let alone be out on a training pitch..
  15. I suspect we will want him to stay, if we go up..
  16. 40m for a player who isn’t England quality is quite a price…
  17. Well what a very bizarre ‘attack’ by Iran. Slow, predicted and dealt with. It’s almost as if this attack was intended to appease those in Iran who have been baying for blood since the general was killed. iranian tv has been showing old footage of explosions that didn’t even happen in Israel to show the ‘damage’ they have done with this drone attack. they are definitely hoping this is the end of the matter but noise coming out of Israel is that they are going to respond!!!

whilst I do understand what your saying, I’d say it’s part of the problem for me to blame anyone but myself for what food I put in my mouth. I should also shoulder the blame as a parent, for what I feed my children.
  19. but that’s the thing. IF . Yet people have already decided Maresca is rubbish yet someone else’s managers gets an ‘IF’.
  20. Just wondering if Daniel Fark is a rubbish manager too?

  23. So i don't think there is actually a topic on this - at least i couldn't find one.... Since November, i have lost 3 1/2 stone and the most part , its been about changing my eating habits and NOT about exercise. I still exercise when i can, but i wouldnt say its been the biggest contributing factor.. eating more healthily, has been. This Twitter thread brings up an interesting point... back in the 60s/ 70s/ 80s when weight was much much less of an issue, there were not all these different diet types, no keto diet, no vegan diet no, no adkins.. none of that. There was simply much more home cooking and much less processed food.
