  6. Just go for a 50k stadium and move in together!
  7. Hmm… bit convenient this… I mean, she’s blaming previous concussions for defeats but the same issues were there for her victories.. Ronda Rousey says she hid "concussions and neurological injuries" for years during her trailblazing run as UFC bantamweight champion. American Rousey, 37, became the first woman to join the UFC in 2012, defending her title six times before defeat by Holly Holm in 2015. Rousey says the loss caused her to "self-assess" her career for the sake of her long-term health. "It's hard to look at footage of that match," Rousey told BBC Sport. "Because I can literally see in my eyes I'm suffering from a neurological injury decades in the making. "It [ticks] me off when people see that and say, 'this is Ronda being outclassed'. That's me with my brain not properly working." Rousey, speaking following the release of her new book Our Fight, revealed how a decade's worth of concussions suffered during her judo career, where she won Olympic bronze for the USA in 2008, affected her UFC run. Rousey stops and takes a deep breath as she describes her wellbeing going into the Holm fight, which she lost via a head kick knockout in the second round. "I was concussed going into that fight - I fell down the stairs and knocked myself out two weeks before," she recalled. "But I had been hiding concussions and neurological injuries for so long that it just became part of it. And that was the point I was forced to really self-assess and be like, 'your brain has taken too much damage for too many years'."
  8. Everyone can handle a calamitous mistake to some extent but it’s the callous and nonchalant comment of “ these things happen in war” that has done him no favors at all.. especially at the time whilst refusing to apologize..
  9. So Israel has released some findings.. But today’s admission by Israel’s military, the IDF, that its fatal targeting of humanitarian aid workers on Monday was "a grave mistake" is further proof that its entire military operation in Gaza cannot possibly achieve its aims without inflicting intolerable civilian casualties. The admission contained in today’s IDF statement that the coordination plan agreed between it and the World Central Kitchen charity "was not distributed down to operational level" is symptomatic of a wider problem. In the confusion of this 3-dimensional conflict, with drone pilots remotely targeting buildings, people and vehicles from the air, coordination with those on the ground is not working as it should. Given the fact that six months into this operation significant elements of Hamas, including its leadership, have survived to fight on, it is hard to see how further mistakes are going to be avoided without a major overhaul of the IDF’s operational procedures, something likely to be resisted by commanders That highlighted part is absolutely unforgivable incompetence.
  10. With regards to wages.. personally I feel like there was a degree of us having unintentionally gatecrashed the top 4 and making a desperate attempt to stay there. Plus a bit of player power going on.. I’m sure the day after the prem title win there was several players knocking on Vichai door making it very clear who won them the prem title.. plus there was a degree of ‘prolonged prestige’ when trying to sign new players for a few years after “!you won the prem and you are rich pay me more to sign” and then we got in a whole and a spiral and couldn’t get out of it as we were desperate to stay competitive and in the top6 which backfired spectacularly. so that may be some blue tinted specs going on there but personally I’d see that as a little bit different as say Forest who just went for the spending to get into and stay in the prem without a care of the consequences. in really just making excuses, I know…
  11. they certainly have the ability to… it depends which Coventry turn up!
  12. It always feels a bit awkward for me when someone starts a thread on FT claiming they are the ones obsessed with us when we are the ones who have been on to their forum to find this information out..

With Vardy possibly on his way out and seniorman out of contract, we may we’ll need another striker anyway..
  15. correct their ‘mistakes’? I think this is a generous assessment of what’s been going on
  16. I think that’s too long at least with how it is now there’s a sense of accountability right now for mistakes you have done recently.. the reality is no matter which way round you do it, teams will exploit it for their own benefit..
  17. Yeah, how did I miss that one?
  18. punish people for breaking the rules instead of changing them again?
  19. It’s worth noting that one of the reasons man city have been posting profits is ( allegedly ) there has been some dodgy sponsorship dealings so don’t be fooled by the fact they are posting a ‘profit’ I believe this part is all about to catch up with them besides, one thing thing that has evaded man city so far is the champions league and that’s the one thing their owners are after now.. if they can get away with it, they’ll spend even bigger to get that elusive trophy.
  20. id like to keep KDH, Fatawu and Mavididi and maybe cannon and Riccy P!
  21. So you dont think the likes of Man City are going to look at this and rub their hands with glee?
  22. Sure Forest and Everton can manage it for a couple of seasons ( spending big) but long term it would be unsustainable for them.. but make no mistake, the likes of Man City are the main benefactors here... I will say though that Newcastle owners are probably keen for this to happen , but it also makes it possible for foreign investors to buy a sleeping giant, again...
  23. its the biggest ' roll over and tickly my belly' that they could possibly come up with. it's basically an admittance that they have 'lost' the fight against the big 6. i see it as a last ditch attempt to stop the big 6 from trying a breakaway league again..

I think its fairly clear what they are saying - he is not going to be offered a new deal.
  25. This will basically be the end of any PSR 'regulations' Most clubs who are overspending will just happily take the hit of a few more million on top and carry on overspending. It would basically be a green light to the top 6 to keep doing what they are doing.
