  1. Not sure I agree with this.
  2. 3 league defeats in a row… a wobbly wheel or has it come off completely?
  3. Of course. Who else?
  4. My bad you’re right
  5. Huddersfield is a local rivalry . A derby. Anything can happen in Derbys the reason why they were awful against us is because we are a better team who unfortunately made some mistakes that cost us the game anyway, Leeds ARE a good team.
  6. Leeds lost and Southampton losing. Happy days.
  7. Cutting edge reporting be the BBC…
  8. Thats not a genuine George Galloway letter surely?
  9. If he's playing well for Seville, i reckon he'll have other offers which will strengthen our hand. It's interesting he hasn't closed the door on a return to Leicester.
  10. so interestingly, he’s not quitting altogether in November, he’s only quitting being the leader - he’ll still finish out his term into 2027. If it was the health issues that were the problem you’d assume he’d retire now. I don’t think he can stand trump at all. This makes it easier for him to sit on the back bench. I think he was waiting to see how Hayley was faring and unfortunately it’s not very well.
  11. that’s exactly what I thought when I heard he was quitting.. “ oh no….”.. another way for Trump to consolidate his grip on the republican party
  12. but trump doesn’t need to win over democratic voters who are disillusioned with Biden. That has nothing to do with trump. It’s Biden who needs to convince them to vote for him. For every voter who doesn’t go out and vote For Biden however, essentially, it IS a vote for Trump. i think your point of course is that just because there is a protest vote in a primary doesn’t mean they won’t vote in a presidential election. It is however a warning sign that the Democratics would be foolish to ignore. The bottom line is that his continued support for Israel could effect the presidential vote in November.
  13. Michigan voters have sent a clear warning to the White House that Joe Biden's support for Israel's war in Gaza could cost him dearly in the presidential election in November. Activists encouraged people voting in Tuesday's Democratic primary to withhold their votes from President Biden and instead mark the box marked "uncommitted" as a protest. More than 100,000 voters did just that. I’ve been warning about this. 100k doesn’t sound like a lot but in a full presidential vote it could be a lot higher. When you add in all the other states. It has the potential to affect the swing states significantly.. there’s already misgivings about Biden himself… oh goodness… I have a cousin who said he’d leave the states if Trump wins. He’s probably look up flights as we speak!
  14. Impressed with how much he’s kicked on since the turn of the new year. Impressed me. He’s won me over. Sign!
  15. I do agree councils are mismanaged. That’s clear to see. The endless red tape, the way they send a team out to do a 1 man job. but I do also wonder if their budgets have or haven’t increased along with the cost of living? Supplies are more expensive, petrol, wages are going up… are their budgets increasing at the same rate all these are? I worked for the.NHS for quite a few years and they would employee managers for the stupidest of things.. I assume it’s the same for councils?
  16. Spurs at home please. Hamza to keep Maddison quiet.
  17. I Tell you what… when you have vesty, cracking one off from the edge of the box, and counter attacking from the edge of our box deep into extra time, you know your name is on the cup!
  18. I wouldn’t want to be the Admin in charge of applications opening their inbox tomorrow morning!
  19. a Bit of positivity... Wealthy Donor donates 1bn dollars to a university and announces that it will become a tuition free college.. Students reaction: https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-68374453
  20. I remember saying several weeks ago that with the Presidential election looming, Donald Trump didn't need to focus so much on gaining the middle ground vote, although of course they will play a part, and he will try to, but the reality was that there will be so many disillusioned Democratic voters that Biden needs to persuade them to get out and vote. I fully believe Trump will likely win the election with a smaller vote than what he got in 2016. It looks like there will be a lot of 'protest' votes over their stance in Gaza. Many will be marking their ballots ' uncomitted' https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-68409546 https://www.newsnationnow.com/politics/2024-election/dems-uncommitted-vote-michigan/
  21. To be fair the Tories deserve all the reciprocated gloating that comes their way with regards to their current downfall. I seem to remember a significant about of glee being thrown around with regards to the Corbyn implosion
  22. Drone footage of the training session of the next Liverpool match..
  23. it’s condescending, but it’s not sexist, in the same way I might say “ good boy” to someone who annoys me.
