but trump doesn’t need to win over democratic voters who are disillusioned with Biden. That has nothing to do with trump. It’s Biden who needs to convince them to vote for him. For every voter who doesn’t go out and vote For Biden however, essentially, it IS a vote for Trump. i think your point of course is that just because there is a protest vote in a primary doesn’t mean they won’t vote in a presidential election. It is however a warning sign that the Democratics would be foolish to ignore. The bottom line is that his continued support for Israel could effect the presidential vote in November.

I do agree councils are mismanaged. That’s clear to see. The endless red tape, the way they send a team out to do a 1 man job. but I do also wonder if their budgets have or haven’t increased along with the cost of living? Supplies are more expensive, petrol, wages are going up… are their budgets increasing at the same rate all these are? I worked for the.NHS for quite a few years and they would employee managers for the stupidest of things.. I assume it’s the same for councils?

I remember saying several weeks ago that with the Presidential election looming, Donald Trump didn't need to focus so much on gaining the middle ground vote, although of course they will play a part, and he will try to, but the reality was that there will be so many disillusioned Democratic voters that Biden needs to persuade them to get out and vote. I fully believe Trump will likely win the election with a smaller vote than what he got in 2016. It looks like there will be a lot of 'protest' votes over their stance in Gaza.
