i don’t disagree with you that a change of owners would be good… my only point is that we are NOT on a par with Sheffield Wednesday..

that’s a very normal practice that many clubs utilize. It isn’t anything we should be concerned about. ANY club that gets relegated will sell players. We do that to try and meet PSR regulations with our current income.… but that doesn’t mean we are in financial disarray. That’s just sensible. With regards to the shirt sponsor.. sounds like King Power were up to their old tricks again… it’s not that we couldn’t get anyone else it’s that this dodgy gambling ‘ company’ were going to pay more than anyone else. By the time that was all rumbled, it was too late to organize another for the season. King Power have made some terrible decisions last few years, but none of them have threatened the future of the club like Wednesday have and neither should what has been happening this close season be taken as anything other than normal financial house cleaning for a relegated club. how long can it go on for if we don’t get promoted? Well if we continue to shift the deadwood like we did this season then we will be fine.

our problem has never been that our losses were not sustainable, it had been that we can’t meet PSR regulations. We don’t have an aging stadium that parts have been closed due to disrepair, we haven’t even come close to not being able to pay our staff and we have lots of sellable assets.

I think it’s probably to do with how devoid of passion the team has been for a couple of seasons now. A thirsty man in a dry hot desert will treat half a bottle of flat coke as the drink of the Gods..

I agree. He’s made some great subs and some great tactical changes. but I would like to see a shift away from starting Soumarè and Skipp when we have Winks twiddling his thumbs on the bench..

personally, I’d take the turmoil we have now along with the league win and the FA cup win over the mediocrity that was Mandaric..

Our trouble is, our asking price. Owners have invested 400m of their own money just in wiping our debt out.. plus all the money that King Power have invested in us. they’ll want at least that money in asking price.. that’s not what anyone wanting to asset strip us is going to pay. Who would they sell seagrave to? Or even the stadium? so anyone paying that money is going to see us as a project for the long term, similar to how king power did.. they won’t get that money back with us languishing in the champ so, if anyone buys us now they’ll at least Get us into the prem sharpish. Anyone who buys us in the prem will pay significantly more than that.. in short, we won’t be sold any time soon..

we really need a natural LB playing… just SOMEONE with a left foot…
