  1. That was a load of bob.
  2. Are we.... Sheff United's feeder club?
  3. This game is not very entertaining. Should be last on MOTD2.
  4. Stolarczyk taking an age to take kicks and then that ankle injury that he seemed to recover very quickly from. Ayew with multiple injury stoppages, after almost every aerial challenge (he was getting a bit of arm and elbow to the head, to be fair) Justin going down twice, not quite long enough to bring on treatment, before he went off. Bobby DCR with an extended arguing of the toss after a free kick awarded against us, and getting a yellow. Winks' quite decent rugby tackle on Gray. Vardy taking an age to go off the pitch. I'm not counting the Daka stoppage in added on time, because he was absolutely clattered. Any more?
  5. Maybe he's an on-pitch leader of the sort we've lacked of late (even if he did nearly talk himself into a red )
  6. Ange has a horrific injury crisis to manage, but they look so fragile and beatable. Tamworth saw it and nearly did them. The fact that we (after 7 losses) exploited it, will sicken them. You have to think Ange is in deep trouble.
  7. He had no chance with Richarlison's goal, which was squarely down to Faes, but otherwise, imperious, even if he might have been booked earlier for the dark arts. He even made great saves when Spurs had been offside.
  8. Well that was a turn up. A bit embarrassed by the time wasting, but everyone else does it. Bilal, what a strike.
  9. Spurs fans singing that they want Levy out at 0-0. They could have it worse. They could have recruited Palace and Fulham's reserves over the Summer. They could have a defence powered by nuclear brain-fart. They could be paying top wonga for Ward and Coady to be cheerleaders. They could be stuck up a PSR gumtree. Then they might have something to sing about.
  10. Ruud picked Ayew because he looked sad. Not realising that's how he looks all the time.
  11. Form guide suggests this will be a classic.
  12. 10 pages pre-match chat already This is up there with some dark days of the past. Foxestalk is not happy.
  13. I hate Chelsea but you love to see Man City go full comedy mode.
  14. Wonderscrawl ?
  15. 3-2 Man City now losing because their players' names are written on their ridiculous shirts in Comic Sans font.
  16. I did not know this about Kai Havertz, but it explains a lot
  17. You don't need to have someone point out a threat. In addtion to visually monitoring every entrant and asking to see in bags, they can have "random" physical searches. Obviously they need to have laid-down procedures for this and use a proper randomiser, to avoid being accused of adverse profiling patterns. They then ask for permission to do a search, which is limited in what they are allowed to do (i.e. a pat- down over the clothes, not a full body search). If the person refuses, the venue will form a view about the reasons for this and will almost always have reserved the right to decline admission.
  18. Terrorists change their methods. Whilst there are terrorists attacking large gatherings, like the examples I quoted, we are all stuck with security checks. We go through them in airports, getting into Museums in Big Cities and, yes, sporting events. Glad to see that you are relaxed enough about the subject to adopt a mocking tone. No need, really. No, that's not the truth, that is definitely your opinion. If someone wants to bring in a machete, or a bag packed with explosives, or other stuff we haven't thought of, through a security check, they are going to have a tougher time achieving that than if there are no such checks. I can't believe I'm having to explain this. I disagree. Any organisation inviting large numbers of the public to its premises has a duty to protect them. As I pointed out with the examples I gave in my original post, a large gathering of people might present a tempting target for those who wish to do great harm. LCFC, like other clubs, is bound to take measures to protect those attending. Now, you might take correct issue with how security behave to fans once they are inside the ground, but that's not what I was talking about.
  19. I appreciate that the OP doesn't like the level of security, but since terrorists murdered crowds at Ariana Grande and The Bataclan, getting delayed while people are checked, and seeing what you might think is too much security, are going to happen at any large gathering. If something terrible were to happen at a football match, questions would immediately be asked about entry checks and the level of security. Whenever I get stuck in such a check, I don't blame the venue. I blame the world we live in.
  20. Him and Legolas.
  21. Manu Petit was spot on when he singled out the keeper as a weak spot.
  22. Sunday afternoon = Drury Shout-athon
