  1. Yet again, that horrible feeling, wanting a rotten outfit like Man United to win, in order to keep one of our relegation rivals in trouble. I would quite like not to have to feel this.
  2. Today has been my first day off running since November. I was doing a 25/25 challenge (meaning at least 25 minutes exercise for 25 days) which I did by running 5km every day from 1st Dec to Xmas Day included. My times are nearer 35 min than 25 min , but I got it down to 32 min on a very hilly course by the end. Nearly all of the runs involved setting out at 05:30ish, as the Mrs was doing the challenge with me and she doesn't feel safe running outside in the dark on her own and needed to set out early for work, so I went out with her. Looking forward to a few longer runs, done a bit less frequently. Starting Saturday.
  3. Duran trod on Schar's arse twice in the same challenge. It wasn't much, but it looked deliberate, and in the modern climate, it puts you in danger of being sent off. So he was.
  4. Joelinton slightly touches the shoulder of Rodgers who goes down holding his face and rolling about. Should be a retrospective ban for that.
  5. Duran didn't want to face the mighty Leicester City.
  6. Head's gone.
  7. There must have been clues, surely. Phlegm where it shouldn't be? Offers to mind your car for a quid? Trips to the shops in dressing gown, slippers and curlers? Cilla Black albums?
  8. The Times made Jordan Ayew our best player.
  9. In addition to the goals, there was a bad one at 0-0 where the ball went over the top and the Wolves attacker beat our defender, but miscontrolled it. Ward, not communicating with his defence, had rushed out and would have been in no man's land, if the attacker had been able to control it. He got away with one.
  10. Ward getting solid 1s across the board from all who have voted so far.
  11. To "That's Amore" Wheeeeeen the Leicester fans sigh Cos Ward waved the ball by That's appalling. When Ward jumps in the air And the ball is not there That's appalling.
  12. They should change the words of his song (to the tune Daddy Cool) Danny, Danny Ward Howler, and they've scored
  13. To clarify, this was not an exhortation to the Scousers to thrash us...
  14. THRASH THEM SCOUSERS
  15. Reasons not to be cheerful: Selecting Danny Ward, who appeared to be jumping over the ball instead of saving it, before being booed and ironically cheered by his own team's fans. He's shot and he can't be selected again, even if Mads is unavailable. Justin having a really costly brainfart. Ayew selected instead of Buonanotte who only came on with the game already dead and looked 4x more arsed to play than Ayew Soumaré and Skipp largely ineffective. Playing our aged GOAT the whole match, when maybe he needs to be used sparingly and might have been injured at the end there. Bringing on Bobby Sodding Cordova Reid, who was just as effective as we have come to expect. Wolves passing it around, unencumbered by any fight from us, in acres of space in the midfield, while their fans chanted Olé, Olé.
  16. Well that was absolutely horrendous and I may try to drink myself to death over Christmas.
  17. I did notice a LOT of Wolves players writhing about on the floor before they started their goalfest.
  18. We are the comeback kings, so there's still a small amount of hope. If Ward pulls a hammy or something...
  19. There is no way Ruud is going to hook Ward at half time. But he should, as Ward has jumped over the ball instead of saving it and now he's getting booed and ironic cheered off his own side's fans.
  20. Before the match between Rot-Weiss Essen and VfB Stuttgart, they held a minute's silence for the victims of Magdeburg. Some Pondscum shouted out during the silence "Germany for the Germans" and was immediately shouted down by the crowd who chanted en masse "Nazis Out, Nazis Out". It is utterly spine tingling to watch. The Idiot was arrested and charged with incitement, and won't see a football ground for a while. Restored my faith in people, at least a little bit.
  21. Can't believe the Arse aren't just running it to the corners and trying to obtain corner kicks by hitting it behind off defenders.
  22. Headline writers rubbing their hands because of all the Jesus/Christmas puns they had at the ready.
