  1. I'm a huge fan of the '84 original, but still thought After Life was great. Haven't had chance to watch the new one yet, but the initial reviews weren't too favourable.
  2. Not sure I fully agree with the last bit. There are definitely times in games when you need to try to 'calm down' and relax with the ball...to kill an opponents momentum for example. Straight after scoring not long before half time though? Got to be at full tilt here. Especially when you can feel the crowd turn like you could yesterday - The ironic cheers etc before the goal made it feel a bit edgy.
  3. Aside from the current top 4 and Rotherham - I genuinely can't tell the difference between the other 19 teams in this league. Maybe I'm a simpleton, but they all seem the exact same in terms of quality. Some are a bit more organised or have a bit more energy, but I'm not sure I'd consider a game against Norwich or West Brom for example to be tougher than one against Sheff Wed or Huddersfield...it's weird!
  4. Enzo was shouting ‘Calm Down!’ after we scored the first with ~10mins to go in the first half! Annoyed me for some reason - Felt like it’s the opposite of what we should be doing…We were in the ascendency, and they looked rattled. Luckily we kept the foot on the gas as you say, and did so even after the break. Was a good performance overall.
  5. I’ve never heard that before, weirdly. 😅 So apparently Vardy had what sounds like a pretty serious issue with alcohol…one little chat with Top and all was well. What a guy!
  6. Surely if we don’t go up the club will look to move him on? Every cloud ‘n all that.
  7. Very good post and pretty accurate unfortunately. We had fans on here saying our midfield was clearly ‘top 8 Premier League quality’ earlier in the season. Just absolutely deluded. A lot of our early wins were very fortunate. I was enjoying the ride but it felt pretty obvious to me that Enzo and the team were overachieving. Almost all of them are just overpaid Championship players. Can’t wait to see the back of a lot of them.
  8. Had a few beers but the belief is there again. We go again Monday!
  9. I wonder how influential a fresh face could have been… We do seem a bit stale and lacking inspiration at the moment. You can see why the club decided to try and push it through despite the PSR stuff in the background.
  10. Definitely. Get his lad and Tom Hopper back in if we can as well. The whole gang.
  11. Best club to support in the country - By miles! 😅
  12. The few years before the League One relegation were much worse.
  13. When the game swings against us he isn’t one you can rely on to step up. I said the same at the start of the season and just received some quimmy replies, but my opinion hasn’t changed. He is a good player, absolutely no doubt about that, but he’s a big part of our soft underbelly.
  14. Yeah - As shit as it is, I agree with this. We actually have very few sellable assets. Or at least players that other clubs would want considering their quality:wage demands.
  15. Yeah but imagine what Enzo could do with him in that high 8 position…Look what he did with Vestergaard and Ndidi! Absolutely nothing to do with the fact that we’re playing at a much lower level at the moment…
  16. Well if we do go up I guess we'll need to use him next year if the resources are limited. Points deduction and another season watching Soumare in the PL - Cannot wait!
  17. My opinion hasn't changed since I watched his debut against Spurs to be honest - He is not very good. Got some stick on here in the Summer for saying he was the one I'd love to be sold above all others...he just has that car crash mix of rash and arrogance. He's a Championship standard player, but to be fair to him, he is pretty good at this level. Just a bit of a laughing stock at the level above.
  18. Hopefully you're right. To be fair, Leeds gave them a game at their place last month - Middlesborough on the other hand, did not! Chelsea were the better team in the cup final recently as well, but still lost. Never know what you're going to get from them.
  19. They should hammer us really. Hoping for a bit of cup magic though - Could be a bit of a catalyst for the rest of the season.
  20. Ughh, I think I'll probably do this. I did the same last season - Bet on us to be relegated when we were 5/1. It was the first time I'd ever bet against us...wasn't proud of myself I thought we were the worst team in the league last year so bet accordingly - I do actually think that we'll still finish in the top two this year though so it would just be insurance!
  21. He’s looked totally lost the last few games.
  22. Fantastic today. Contributes so much defensively.
  23. Absolutely no chance we get decent money for him. He’s a Championship player. Laughing stock at the level above.
  24. Wish he’d stop playing Faes for a bit. When games are a bit more stretched and we aren’t in full control, you see him for what he is. …and he’s not very good.
