  1. Not a bad half that
  2. I think you’re probably right - if he was any good he’d be straight in as JJ is a weak link. Hope I’m wrong
  3. Sounds like our PM too
  4. Her sustainable aviation fuel political spin is a load of b0llocks
  5. Presume something else has turned Rudkins head........3.15 at Kempton probably
  6. I bet the boxing day one she sent was an absolute ripper - no wonder this got to court
  7. Great to have Mads back asap
  8. Or...he was unemployed and wanted to earn some dosh, and if it all went pear shaped he can throw it out there that he wasn't backed in the transfer market which is why we were relegated, he inherited a bad hand etc etc. Not every manager is going into a perfect scenario - the whole league bar a few clubs is at the mercy of PSR - this isn't football manager.
  9. I find it a bit odd that people clamber for signings - not disagreeing we don't need some desperately but there is literally no point bringing anyone in that wont improve our XI or we may aswell of kept the likes of Hamza. Players that would improve our XI are likely already shining for their own clubs, so become less obtainable for obvious reasons mid season. Not an easy market to navigate even with a competent DOF and team below.
  10. Simple economics - supply and demand my friend. The product is still (just) about cheap enough for the masses to buy regularly. I think you could have that opinion about any product...why do you need that expensive pair of shoes/golf club/car/handbag etc etc. There are of course cheaper alternatives to all those but they aren't as good - same with coffee, nescafe out the tin tastes like bath water compared to a decent cup of coffee.
  11. Trioble is the 3rd runway I think is £12-15bn alone - just runway. The sale of the real estate wouldn't generate enough money to build a new 3 runway airport plus the road network and transport links around it. Doesn't make any financial sense.
  12. Can't wait for the fax machine jokes, really does make me belly laugh each time. Such good banter
  13. Black Hawk won't have a TCAS system, even so the system is inhibited when close to the ground.
  14. Correct - apologies if the term wasn't correct, I think you got the gist
  15. 3rd runway at Heathrow - the political gift that keeps on giving. I'm sure @leicsmac and many other climate activists oppose this?
  16. Jam pot was a bit meh. Can’t pull a pint of Guinness
  17. 1. Who says you need to barge in and take over, why not just participate like the rest of the fan base. 2. where have they said that? Protest but not if you are a member of a supporters group? Bizarre and excludes a lot of genuine lcfc fans who happen to be part of UFS, and oppose the current running of the club. 3. A lot of people have been clambering for change and this is the first time it’s been organised so surely a great opportunity to get your voices heard in decent numbers? Maybe I’m missing something
  18. The article also states that Vardy and Kasper wanted him out without saying as much, which you can believe - surprised they turned on Shakey
  19. Plenty of threads to slag off the ownership - this is about 5 people that died. Seriously our fans sometimes - bewildering
  20. Well thats just childish as everyone wants what is best for the club, shouldn't of given him the time of day. FWIW I really think UFS should be backing this protest and IMO would look worse if they didn't rather than did.
  21. Yeh so that kind of backs up my point why not just back the protest and get involved? Nothing is at stake really. If there is more of a collective protesting against the clubs it gets heard - if supporter groups distance themselves from it then they are whinging about the club (like we all do) but then don't back it up with action.
  22. Best places to drink near Bank? I've got 2-8pm tomorrow to kill, heading to the Ned first for a meal. Train 8:45pm from Euston.
  23. Sort of agree but in life you've got to put your money where your mouth is? Feet under the table, what kind of tangible benefits are they getting - the authorisation to do the odd tifo, there aren't any plans to roll out safe standing etc. I think the backing by a supporters group could actually elevate any protest - it's where the large chunk of the anti board chants have come from so not backing it would look a bit odd. Happy to be corrected.
  24. You and plenty of others I'm sure!
