  1. So nothing to do with inflation in the UK increasing or the fact the economy has contracted for 2 months in a row (first time since 2020) . I don't think it's overreacting to guilt markets either, 10 year bond at the highest level since 2008 and a 30 year bond at the highest level since 1998? This isn't ''gilt markets doing gilt market things'' If in doubt blame Trump - not that he was in power during the periods stated above....
  2. People must wake up and think hmmmmmmm let me think what mass hysteria I can create today.
  3. Who is responsible for long term bond yields being at their highest since 1998 then?
  4. Who is downplaying climate change ''as above''? Confused.
  5. You are correct - but this is a place to discuss economics and not just Climate Change - which everyone with a brain recognises is an important issue, alongside numerous other ''important issues'' it doesn't mean the narrative has to be dragged back to that each and every time. You are also correct on your first point, but the current budget is playing out exactly as experts and economists said it would, so the course could of been changed at the start by not proposing such a poor budget.
  6. Pound sinks to lowest level since 2023 at $1.22, who'd have thought it
  7. I was there last week and they insisted on wearing them, but plenty weren't - so it's pointless really.
  8. @Happy Fox is organising it.
  9. This Literally cant believe what I'm reading on this forum sometimes. What is also in the public domain is a full set of accounts, and depsite being a full set they don't disclose enough information to make an informed decision on PSR anyway. Plus it's a year out of date!!

No - so basically they have declined currently but we are appealing. We have sent all docs including the signed building control cert showing it’s an extension - all over the plans and approval by the council it quotes extension - they haven’t flattened the bungalow it’s just been extended, it’s so frustrating. Coventry are considering getting it surveyed again at the moment. It’s touch and go tbh. We are starting to get pressure from below but I’m just ignoring atm. If we went with another lender and they decided they would lend, I reckon the mortgage would be another £400 a month, it’s already best part of £2.5k p/m, you’ve got to draw a line somewhere

I didn’t quote about oak furniture
  12. One of my biggest gripes in life when someone is “different” another person judges this as “autistic” or “could they be slightly autistic” it’s just lazy. My son is autistic and quite severe, not “high functioning”. Just wish people in life would think before they post or say stuff like that, and how it might be perceived by a reader or someone who has to deal with it day in day out.
  13. Was the footfall comment an accidental pun

Avoid Coventry building society at all costs
  15. Plenty of people boo'd Mahrez when he played against us for Man City
  16. Gentle reminder to stop posting on Foxestalk and get on with your day job.
  17. Have you worked out the payback timeframe?
  18. This was a good watch at the time - we are talking about a highly successful banker who worked on the board of multiple elite clubs and PE firms who pulled off a relatively easy transfer deal here - Grealish's stock at the time was really high. He is miles away from anything we could attract at LCFC - a CEO of this kind of calibre would get much better offers elsewhere. Somehow we managed to hoodwink Man Utd to pay a then world record fee for a defender in Maguire and then Fofana for £70m after one good season. We didn't do a video on it, but at the time these were very good deals for the club. The criminal part is what we did with the money afterwards and the money from the Champions League - we should of been set yp for the next 10 years. IIRC I think it's probably only Brighton that can boast those kind of fees received in recent times.
  19. A satisfied Customer. We should have him stuffed
  20. Organise it then?
  21. All 3 clubs riding on the crest of the wave of recent success. When we were doing similar in 2015-20 as @Mickyblueeyes pointed out we were doing more in the media.
  22. I think the nerves might get to Forest in the last 10 games of the season, this is based on a hunch and nothing more. Can Wood keep scoring? Not sure if he doesn't who then takes that on. I think they will finish 5 or 6th, and I think thats a great achievement! CL music blaring out at the City ground will feel like your about to throw up out of both ends.
  23. I think there is a section of our fan base that are genuinely gutted we didn't get a points deduction this season.
  24. Yeh hence my tongue in C=cheek comment, its more a bit of fun rather than a serious swig review
