  1. No - the one that works at Pompey, which is why I said Pompey.
  2. If I was in Tops position I’d be going all out to get someone like Richard Hughes from Pompey.
  3. My mate works up bradgate park and said he could hear the noise for the winner there
  4. KDH and Missy Goodwin
  5. It's an absolute dive, the backroom doubles up as a nightclub kind of thing on fridays and saturdays for the dregs of society to hang out together.

  7. KDH is going to be like the last fit bird on the dancefloor in a grotty nightclub come June.
  8. Well the appointments are down to Top to be frank. Governence is set by the whole board, within their own departments so if the leader is inneffective then so becomes the whole business.
  9. Well every business has this, but it relies on capable individuals to deliver it.
  10. Top is the owner of the business and Executive Chairman, he isn't going to remove himself - the only way he would do that is step away himself an appoint someone as Chairman, sack the rest of the board and reappoint - not something that's done lightly and wouldn't be until the summer in any case. Whelan's salary is the only salary we are aware of, c£300K - she will likely have a 12 month notice at least in her CofE - multiply that with other highly paid positions you are probably looking at between £1-2m of cost + legals, then to reappoint the same positions on higher salaries is likely. Not that the money should put him off, but it's a further consideration given our financial distress.
  11. Sure many of those who are on social media will of seen it is World Autism Awareness Day. Lots of people posting and spreading awareness - which is great. I can't really put it into words how challenging it is to care for someone you love and care for so deeply who will often not recognise this, not know their name when you call them, not interact with you on a level all your peers do with their children and a whole load of other daily difficult and upsetting behaviours. If you do know someone who does have a child, or relative with Autism - or any form of disability whether phyiscal or mental, I urge you to just check how they are doing a bit more often, an extra invite for a pint or an offer of some time/support - it goes a really long way. There are a few people on here that will understand my fumbled words above and I am always open to talk about my own experiences.
  12. You can’t blame him but surely it must of crossed his mind how stupid it is considering his position. Something in the water at Leicester
  13. Should be nice and toxic on Easter Monday
  14. Top hasn’t got a big enough sack to do this, so it ain’t happening. he’ll be clapped off like a war hero if we win on Monday I’m sure
  15. He got to big for his boots when he was been shagged every week by SK1

It's going on rightmove today - it was our first home and been in it 10 years, put off moving for a few years so this will be a bit of a wrench

Yeh I was working off a £2k per m2 when looking at this property. I agree with you, and factor in stamp duty and moving costs

How many m2 are you getting for that?
  21. Have a look at vanguard. How old are you and how long do you want to hold it before touching it?
  22. Agree to an extent but if you can grab something on 0% credit and have the savings for the equivalent value it makes no sense to use your own money, use someone else’s. 6 months would be enough if you had a 3 month notice period, it is also age dependent, if you are 55 you would have access to your SIPP should you need it. Another factor is, having 5 grand knocking about with low to average interest just would be worth a decent chunk in a pension fund 20 years down the line. Compound interest everything you possibly can!

FAO builders. What’s the on average going rate per sqm2 of a single story or double story extension to first fix please? Realise this is subjective, our last extension was 2020 and appreciate the world is different. Pricing it up for a potential house purchase. Thanks - just after a rough idea. Including VAT
  24. I think that point depends on your notice period and how highly paid you are, just my opinion.
  25. I think it depends on your tax position too, if you are a higher rate 40% tax payer you have a limited amount of annual allowance on ordinary interest before you’re taxed on it, if you’re a 45% tax payer you get zero allowance. Cash isa will typically pay less than high street savings but its tax free, S&S ISA over the long term you won’t lose, short term you could as other posters have said. Make sure you have a sum available to you should the roof cave in, the rest stick in a pension for the obvious tax benefits, then long term drip some into a S&S ISA. I wouldn’t even bother with an IFA until your investments are greater than £0.5m or you are 50+, plenty of DIY advice about
