Stockport County 3-4 LCFC - Post Match Thread
J.Lisemore replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
I refuse to believe Luke Thomas is a professional footballer. Has to be the worst left back in the entire EFL. -
He’s a good talker, that’s as far as it goes. Absolutely zero substance to his plan, he attempts to brainwash players and fans into thinking that his tactics work. I hope we get hammered tomorrow. He was the wrong appointment from the get go and if it means us getting battered again for him to be out of the door, I’ll take it.

Stockport (A) | Sat 12-Sep | 15:00 KO - Pre Match

They press us, we make a mistake, they score. Rinse and repeat. Could and probably should be 4 or 5. -
Been there done it though haven’t we. Support is earned by showing you care and giving 100%.

Who would have thought a lad out of Oxfords academy would look better than anything we had out on the pitch, experience or no experience.
-
I’d absolutely sack him now but I think the board give him one more game, lose the next one and it’s curtains.
-
He is the epitome of a manager that obsesses about needlessly overcomplicating the game of football to try and make a name for themselves, whilst looking ridiculous. He sells his ‘idea’ to clubs and we were next in line to fall for it. Fingers crossed it will be over soon.
-
They weren’t even very good on Tuesday to be honest, we were lucky Plymouth couldn’t finish.
-
This guy is a good talker, hence why he keeps getting jobs. The writing is on the wall but he won’t be sacked anytime soon.
-
Why are clubs still employing this *****? His football is terrible and easy to play against, we all knew that. Even the Plymouth win was a let off, they could have easily been 2-0 up with the amount of opportunities we gift away.
-
Luke Thomas never has been and never will be a professional footballer.
-
This defence is laughable
-
We’ve seen some bad centre mids over the year but he is certainly up there, can’t actually believe how ineffective he is. There’s literally nothing he excels at.

Stephy Mavididi (loaned to Watford, official)

THANK F*** FOR THAT. Never to be in an lcfc squad again (hopefully) -
Nice to win. Far from convincing though, it just seems inevitable we are going to gift chances to the opposition every game, we got away with it today. Some fantastic individual performances, Page and Braybrooke being the standouts I think.

At what? One looks like he wants to learn and improve as a footballer, the other is more interested in how high his shorts and socks are. -
Until it turns into 6 games, then 12 games etc.

Summer 26 Transfer rumours 'X' and other Weak Links

Scary that he would be better than anything we’ve got up there at the moment -
Said it before but we cannot go through this season relying on one striker. It should be an absolute priority to get another in before the deadline.

Cannot go through the rest of this season with 1 striker. BCDR doesn’t count, and Cullen isn’t a striker. -

Not surprising he’s still here is it. For whatever reason, whether it’s his ego or personal issues, he is a very unhappy footballer and inevitably will be a really hard sell. I don’t understand what these managers have seen in training to have continued to persist with Mavididi over these last few years, he looks totally disconnected every time he steps out onto the pitch. I take the “interest” in him with a pinch of salt, I think Martin has sussed him out as someone that isn’t committed, why it’s taken this long for him to notice I don’t know, but it seems Northampton was finally the last straw. -
Next up, Okoli.
-
All in all, another dreadful signing. Hope we get decent money for him.

In separate news, what’s the odds on the Watford manager to be sacked in the morning
