Clubs can request fixtures they’d like in the Christmas period can’t they. Do us or Liverpool always request it? Have no idea why, but it happens too often to be coincidence. * Unless Liverpool have clocked on we’re usually shite on Boxing Day.

Group D: Poland, Netherlands, Austria, France

Yeah me too. The problem is France’s defence (and Kante) have been so good they’ve only given one even half chance in the whole game. -
Group E: Belgium, Slovakia, Romania, Ukraine

Well, that and her being a qualified referee. -

It’s half the defence we got relegated with. It’s way worse! -

Well done lads. The fact we’ve a winning record and still not totally clicked is a good sign for the second half of the competition. -
Does/did it? Do we have the turnover to be a Man City/United/Chelsea/Liverpool/Arsenal? No we don’t. That’s even before you factor in FFP. (Ive deliberately omitted Spurs because we’ve won more than them recently anyway! 🤣) The club should always push to grow, but pushing to grow also involves an acceptance that you get setbacks and that those with bigger resources have way more room to get away with it. See Man U/Chelsea etc.

Dreadful reffing all round. It’s obviously a dive and, if you don’t think it is a dive, then it’s a red. -

That was a lovely goal. -
It wasn’t great. Great to get to the Champions League final yes but they finished 5th last season in the Bundesliga, their worst for some time. They’ve only had one lower finish in the last 15-years since before Klopp took them over. A fine second in the first season yes, but after a good start losing out on the title in a way that would blow the minds of the many quick to throw the bottle job term around. I don’t think Dortmund fans are disappointed he’s going.

Yeah, I just struggle to see them keeping clean sheets. Even in the first game, you just feel a fired up Mitrovic scores against what is going to be a bit of a patched together defence. The strengths are so strong they could go all the way, but the weaknesses obvious there could also be a disaster. -

Curtis Davies scored on his international debut aged 39. He’s playing for Sierra Leone -

I know what you mean, but Leics dug in to turn it around. Being W2 L2 feels important compared with having lost three including two in a weekend at home. I think they’re still trying to find out what T20 side they are post Ackerman and Parkinson. It felt like a step towards that too. -

I reckon in the last two innings there’s been eight easy catches on the boundary and we’ve only hit three sixes in those innings. -

Would surprise me if the left arm spinner on loan comes in for either Currie or Holland. -

Shame they weren’t there against Yorkshire. That kind of multi-culturalism and tunes about Jimmy Saville would have blown the Yorkies minds. -

https://www.theguardian.com/football/article/2024/jun/04/manchester-city-launch-legal-action-against-premier-league-over-sponsorship-rules Shock they want to change sponsorship rules and also are against the rule that 14 clubs have to vote in favour for something to go through because it’s ’the Tyranny of the majority’ apparently. **** off to the Super League you pricks.
