  1. ‘Rolling in the deep’!
  2. Who do we think is going to be the most obscure former player to get a chant tonight? We’ve already gone through most after 30 mins.
  3. The total lack of awareness in this one is particularly impressive.
  4. Why the **** have I got loads of notifications and my mate shouting at me ‘this is water’ rather than drink? What’s happening?
  5. What the **** is going on?
  6. Genuinely in Rock City in Nottingham and ‘Leeds are a falling apart again has rang out three times.
  7. Currently wankeered out in Notts? Are we gonfg up as champs yet?
  8. Seriously? Gutted for everyone involved if true. They have come from the very bottom to get to step four. How the hell is a town the size of Loughborough not got a decent sized football team?
  9. I hate the term bottle. The ones who throw out the bottle accusations are the ones you wouldn’t want next to you in a battle. People always look for the negatives. If we did win thanks to a lot of bottle (ie West Brom) we’re ‘lucky’ and if we’re unlucky then it’s just we’ve still ‘bottled it’ according to some. Any kind of mettle is taking the rough with the smooth and getting the fook on with it, which this team have done with games to spare by getting at least 94 points. No matter the money spent previously, if you think you can bottle your way to that total in a tough league with numerous off the field issues (including a shock from a massive fall from grace) then you’re as deluded as Vichai was when he first came in and brought Sven, Beckford and Mills etc.
  10. Thailand La Manga Magaluf Coalville Someone said we were overdue a sex scandal.
  11. Isn’t it the case the TV companies usually put their mics near the away fans at every ground as they tend to make more atmosphere?
  12. But twice as many points as that season. Well done lads. Brilliant. (Can we play Southampton every week?)
  13. Can’t wait for the Russell Martin ‘we were the better side’ interview.
  14. Maybe, I just saw the arms up in the slow mo replay.
  15. Think that’s why the ref played an advantage.
  16. KDH is having a strange game. Brilliant assist and he’s everywhere but also doesn’t look like he knows what he’s doing on a football pitch. Wilf too seems well off it. Maybe both feeling the effects of the recent illnesses. Don’t think we’re playing particularly brilliantly well but Southampton’s style of play suits us and should create more in the second half as well. Take our chances on the break and we should be comfortable.
  17. I thought he might start McAteer given how he got between the lines so well in the first game. I thought Coady might not manage two games, but seems a bit odd going back to the same side that was struggling so much.
  18. Also on Forest…wouldn’t a draw have been better for a Luton fan?
  19. The thing with Notts Forest’s mardy though is what’s worse… A few VAR decisions they may or may not get? Or the fact they’re trying to influence/choose who referees them?
  20. That’s defamation. They’ll get sued for that. Has the dodgy owner got hold of the account?
  21. Always complaining about English competitions when none of the managers moan about the greed that is more European games which is the whole reason for any overloads.
  22. Not really. They say it was mentioned in the early stages (doesn’t say how early or what was said) and that it was passed by the ‘Professional Game Board’ (whoever they are), which has four EFL representatives for the 72 clubs (I’m guessing Rick Parry and I wonder how many other ex Prem chair) and the PL which also has four for the 20. Then there’s the FA board which is the only one with non league representation and which, I’m guessing, can be easily outvoted.
  23. The only things that changed when it became the Premier League was the Sky TV deal and that the home team kept 100 per cent of the gate receipts rather than giving the away team 25 per cent. I’m sure you can work out which clubs led that change. It’s been a gradual money and power grab from there.
