In addition to this, because India fans have known they’d likely be in the game for over a year, they’ve booked all the tickets and all the hotels. Apparently English journalists haven’t been able to book anywhere near since finding out on Monday where they were going to play. The Guardian reporting even the BBC radio guys don’t have anywhere.

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'

The Premier League has never been about a level playing field. When it formed in 1992, the biggest difference was that the clubs with the biggest stadiums managed to get rid of the rule that the away side kept 25 per cent of the gate receipts. There’s been more and more rules since. -

Would rather have played Netherlands to be honest. Rather a game where they have to up the levels drastically or go out. -

They’ve not been giving shirt pulls all tournament. -

Nah. The first week or so was great. I think statistically more goals in the opening games than any other. I reckon that was because, with you more often than not needing four points to get through, everyone went all out for the win early on. After that though, those that win only needed one more point which affected the quality of the later games. -

Ukraine should have won that. They had the chances. -

I’ve just been pressing refresh for ages on the LCCC website and it has just had 215/7 for ages, so presumed they’d had a break in play. Not that Kimber had KO’d the scoreboard. -

Vestergaard just missed a decent chance for Denmark. -

If Mulder is missing the last few T20s will he be back for the 50 over stuff? Otherwise guessing it will be the new overseas player in. Would make sense if that’s a bowler if not an all rounder. -

Even the loan players being called up to The Hundred. Currie has been called up as well as Hull to whatever the Lancashire side are. -

I’ll be annoyed if Hungary get through. They were no better than Scotland. -

This referee actually got banned for receiving a bung a few years ago. Not sure you can completely trust everything on his Wikipedia page currently though. -

According to the stats the ref has only given 10 fouls in the game (8 in Portugal’s favour) and he’s given five yellows. -

Oh my. The ball bobbled a little just as it came to him. Still should have buried it though. -

Ridiculous. The ball was there to be cut. Right mixture of emotions. Delighted Rishi wasn’t on the losing side and the highest total by a distance so far. Annoyed as we should have won that though after 15 overs. -
VK had a massive brain fart which is pretty much the only reason England scored. Wasn’t too bad otherwise but was still among the first Danish players to be hooked. Vestergaard got booked early after being caught out but then, surprisingly, was solid without ever seemingly being tested that much. Important to say Denmark were so much better organised than England as a whole both at the back and coming forward

How did Denmark not win that How do you feel as a Denmark fan? Genuinely intrigued as you really should have won and I’d be annoyed. -

Denmark dominating because their midfield is dominating. Foden trying too hard, but the only one making any movement and runs. -

Not after they missed that sitter! -
I’d say a few shit-house scrappers are probably going to be vital.

Yeah it is. First time I’ve logged on this morning. I’ve not got time to shift through the next 29 pages of positivity though. Graham Potter’s Blue and White Army.

Basically, it’s an 18 (ish) per cent increase. My heart sank when I saw them. Will struggle to afford it myself. No idea how anyone with a family would be able to.
