Piss poor
-
You dickhead
-
And zero ability
-
Absolutely wank second half. Where are the bright ideas?
-
Now there’s a pair of subs to get the heart racing…
-
Without wanting to sound all Claude, we lack intensity.
-
Dreadful defending and goalkeeping, and came from carranza hanging on to the ball when he didn’t need to
-
I think we are making it difficult for them to play against us. I’d just like to see a bit more attacking impetus.
-
Was thinking this. Showing his inexperience.
-
Ricardo inverting with winks
-
Ramsey playing with a bit of swagger after his goal. Best we’ve seen from him
-
Our corners must be the worst in the league. Such a wasted opportunity
-
blimey… from a totally needless corner too
-
Great finish. Actually a bit lucky to not give a foul for a high foot seconds before which led to defender doubling over and Ramsey being unmarked. Not complaining mind!
-
Until Faes gets bombed out I can never be truly happy with a starting lineup, but looks good enough to beat pompey - need the performance to follow though.
-
Neither of these teams are very good are they. that third goal looked offside to me.

Anyone know where I can watch the game in full? -
Those boos are deserved. Shameful.
-
Not enough desire. Bunch of pricks
-
Manager hasn’t helped with the subs, but the players need to take some responsibility. Skipp unbelievably poor.
-
You bunch of dickheads
-
Man we have some honking players
-
Thomas needs hooking at the half. VK ain’t very good, but Thomas on a yellow and their winger regularly getting the better of him.
-
Ricky must be struggling physically . keeps getting hooked and clearly bot able to start 2/3 games in a week. Let’s hope we don’t need him! Otherwise, good lineup.

People are in a funny head space this season, judging by some of these comments. I don’t think I’m any exception to that. I was actually in a bit of a mard at full time yesterday despite the late equaliser which got an angry rather than elated celebration out of me. I felt against such mediocre opposition and with such domination of the ball, we should have got a lot more out of the game. But we did play relatively well. It was certainly our most coherent and consistent performance of the season despite the sloppy goal conceded against the run of play. Soumare was decent enough last night. Progressed the ball well and didn’t let the game pass him by. I don’t think he’s the answer but on that single game basis, the criticism levelled at him is not warranted. Similar story with Ayew too, really. The day after the night before, I’ve softened a bit, but still have some criticisms. We’ve no central attacking threat. That is largely on recruitment, but Marti needs to stop persisting with players who are not offensively minded in offensive positions. JJ isn’t a 10 - not creative enough. He looks like a tidy player but needs to be playing deeper next to winks, who looked imperious last night. Ayew needs to come out. He’s got a role to play for us, but leading the line ain’t it, and I’m not convinced playing behind the striker is either. Holding the ball up and winning fouls when we are protecting the lead late in a game is what we should be asking him to do. We have to give Daka a whirl, or get Carranza up to speed sharpish - anything to stretch the play and get someone in behind so we aren’t relying on some magic from our wingers - such an obvious ploy that they are getting double and even triple marked. I absolutely hate Wout Faes. Hate him. Never hated a city player more in my life. He’s not a good defender and there is zero justification for keeping this wantaway clown in the team over a prized asset like Nelson. I like the grit we have shown, and with a couple of personnel changes I feel we can really start to click.
