  1. Sounds positive. I may stick a stream on!!!
  2. Have faith brother ! (Says the man who thinks we’ll lose today!!🤣) 7 games in 23 days for them. If they get through this period, I’ll concede it’s theirs. Unless we keep winning too!
  3. Gray in to wind them up, draw some fouls, red card, 0-4. I’ll have some of that!
  4. Send me some confidence please.
  5. I’m not a doom-monger. However, I am quite unhappy about playing Villa today though. I just think they’ll set out to get amongst us and unsettle us. Not sure if it’s only ever seeing their highlights on MOTD (and them not looking too bad), the fact that their games appear to have been close or what, I don’t know. Delighted to be proven wrong. 2-1 Villa 🙈
  6. The Premier League is crazy this season. Sackings all over the shop, Arsenal in freefall. Man U a bag of wank. I’m not surprised Brighton beat Arsenal tonight. I don’t know where to start!
  7. Definitely not vintage City. Stray passes, 2nd to the ball sometimes, looking a bit jaded. Saying that, do we think it was partly to do with playing the bottom team? Play like that against Villa, we will lose. But, got a clean sheet and 3 points.
  8. I don’t mind him. Shows how a non-bitter Celt should do it. He got a bit angry after the Southampton game when it was suggested we should have laid off them after 5 or so goals.
  9. Should have been red for Trent there.
  10. Yeah...a bit dirty. Robertson following through on Davies and Alexander-Arnold going in on Richarlison Hopefully start picking up a few cards at least.
  11. Craig Burley at the KP tonight on Amazon Paid a pound for tonight’s game from Amazon Prime. No dodgy streams tonight.
  12. Genuinely wish I could look at stats like this and feel confident. 👍
  13. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
  14. Driving to work this morning and some bloody new driver who’s probably only been driving one year and looks like a Uni student decides to stall in front of me. I think he did it on purpose! Gave him what for on my horn!!!!! .
  15. Watford can still give us a game. Obviously I hope we win, just not as confident as some of you! Reading what Brendan said about Vardy being tired, I’d expect him to start but get subbed if we are 2 up around 50 minutes (and If he’s got a goal!) Ian can then get another crack through the middle. Praet in and Kevin too from the start. I don’t think 2 initial changes would unbalance the team too much and then do a bit of subbing to rest a couple more. Gray has been awesome but not sure if he’ll be 100% That’s mostly all if we break down Watford! Come on City. 2-0 please
  16. Mods....can you refill my “Like” button please!? I've ran out for this period.
  17. I’m watching Homeland. Currently on S6. Starting to slightly wear a bit thin now. Still enjoyed the majority of it though. On a side note, just bought Spiral (Engranage) Someone lent me S1-S6 but the S3 discs were blank! I refused to watch any more until I bought S3! I was also sold Braquo S1-S4 by the same woman. She reckons it’s nearly as good as Spiral. I bought them off her with no research whatsoever.
  18. Very pleased for selfish reasons and not because I think we’ll beat them. I can get a bloody ticket for a home game.
  19. 🤣🤣🤣🤣😊🤣🤣🤣
  20. I’ll respectfully disagree with parts of that. I agree with you on some parts. I see it the same as @Markyblue The young un’s at Man U will cut it.....until a new manager is appointed then he wants to sign some high profile, older names. Chelsea have had their hand forced. Whether they can resist spending Roman’s money on marquee signings when the ban is lifted, who knows? I’m sure other clubs are realising investing in youth is the way forward though. As for sniping and making sarky comments, I do but I won’t apologise for it. Anyone my age (mid 40s) growing up and going to school in Leicester in the 80s had to put up with shitloads of plastic Man U and Liverpool fans. Loads of the fvckers. They were the teams of the 80s, no doubt. I endured years of crap as a Leicester fan and this is my payback. I’ll enjoy it with a whiskey! The thing that many of those self-entitled plastics don’t realise is, you can’t just chuck money at their problems. Just buying Maddison and Chilwell won’t give you the Leicester blueprint. Same for Everton. They think taking Steve Walsh would have suddenly unearthed them a Mahrez or Kante. It isn’t that straightforward. It‘s everything going on behind the scenes at Leicester...that’s what other clubs still do not realise. Wheeler, Rudkin, Beaglehole etc. As Man Utd are finding out. As Everton found out. Sadly, as some players are finding out (Drinky, Maguire) etc. You can’t just take a player or someone like Walsh, and expect the same result as when they were here. Man U can build a squad of young talent all they like, but while they’ve got Woodward/Woodwood and that circus behind the scenes, it’s all short sighted, short term planning.
  21. The fans on Red Cafe were fuming about this about 6 weeks ago 🤣🤣 Said we’d robbed them. Agree...and a poor result at Old Trafford 😞😞 They we’re there for the taking. The Man U fans were slagging Evans off. Said he was a bottler when they had him. Said something along the lines of him “playing for a smaller club now and not having the pressure so he’s found his level”. Yeah he has, 7 places above you muppets.
  22. Im not being argumentative, just clarifying my point 👍 I’m not thinking they’ll go from being the best to relegation form. All I’m saying is, there’s such a long way to go yet. I’m looking forward to some twists 😁 Personally, I find it hard to buy into the thinking that Everton haven’t won at Anfield for X amount of years. Same goes with 99% of historical facts like us not winning in London for so many years etc. This is historical thing is something I’ve never really got and I’ll be honest, I still struggle with it. To me, it means nothing. It’s about the day and the moment. Everton could be fired up, Liverpool could have an off-day. Plus, throw in the pressure of a derby, I think history goes out of the window. I don’t think we can discount form because that definitely has a role and if it was won on paper, pre-match, I’d pick Liverpool 100%. But there’s always that part of you that just doesn’t know. Liverpool slipped (no pun) from first on Christmas Day, to fifth in the New year in 2014. I’m not saying that’ll happen now because that’ll take epic failings, but I also don’t think they’re as good as the 100 point Man City team either. That said, who is around right now like that Man City team? I just think the Liverpool fans are being ridiculous saying they’ll get 105 points.
  23. Pellegrini, Silva and Emery next for me. On a side note, when I lost my stream yesterday, I put on the Arsenal game. Emery looked broken when Southampton scored the second. MOTD only showed a glimpse of his face last night, it was quite telling if you saw it live. I genuinely felt sorry for him.
  24. I had a look at one of their forums last night. A couple of sensible people saying one game at a time. Then the idiots were posting. Some think they’ll go unbeaten the entire season and will get 105 points. Some have written off Man City already. I’ll tell you why I haven’t written off Man City, Chelsea (or us secretly): I honestly believe we can beat these on Boxing Day. They’re going to play Everton soon too. Yes, Everton are dogshit at the moment, but I look at derbies like cup games. I think form can go out of the window as your game can be lifted. Everton may also have a new manager by then so will be (hopefully) playing for their place/pride. Footballers are delicate souls sometimes and it only takes 2 or three games of stumbling (especially on the bounce) before they start questioning themselves. Liverpool have hardly been convincing this season and yes, while that means they could still hit top gear, they could also flounder too. When Man City won it with 100 points, they were superb for 99% of the season. Liverpool don’t feel like that to me. I’m not going to bang on about the diving against us or Villa, but they were fortunate those games. There’s an awful long way to go and I think it’s too soon to call champions.
