Have all the people that have liked the Bag Game tweet found Foxestalk? (forum running slow apparently)
-
Amazing isn’t it - changes have been made and they have an impact on the flow of the game.
-
He’d be useful on the right flank, even If it was just to help double up with Justin on Siniestra.
-
I get the change - but it really should have been paired with another one (Ndidi, Ayew and Justin, all players on yellow cards are obvious candidates to change).
-
There’s another BIG warning. The team needs a double substitution NOW!
-
Come on Steve, that was a clear warning and let off. You need to make some changes now!
-
So balance of the game has changed, Ndidi and Ayew on a yellow card - manager needs to figure out what moves he can make to gain more control.
-
Edit: wrong thread!
-
I think it’s Wolves that are in trouble - hard to imagine any incoming manager getting much different out of the squad available. Looks like Wolves and Palace paying for having curious summer transfer windows to me.

What the heck is going on at Brentford @The Bear? (Brentford 4-2 Wolves)
-
This wasn’t unexpected… but Bournemouth are pony.
-
Bournemouth manager going old school with his pen choice I see!
-
Our attacking ideas seem a bit… basic. We’re also leaving plenty of space on the transition.
-
Well VAR have definitely given them before - but for me, that’s not handball (too close).
-
Cooper out!
-
What the **** was that non-existent defending!

You’ve just signed a lad for £20 million, he’s young and enthusiastic but maybe a bit raw. The key thing to do is build the players confidence, especially during this tricky period where everything in his life is up in the air - new teamates, new league, new country, new area, new house etc. So you give him game time - and allow him to make mistakes - to then work on those in the week. You build the foundations with the player by installing the notion you have belief in him and keep playing him. If he’s in and out of the side - his confidence gets knocked and you can get in a tricky scenario where a creative player is second guessing their decision making; and can get either a player playing ‘safe’ too often OR the opposite of trying too hard to impress and forever going for the killer ball.

Shots fired!
-
And hopefully - not a whacking great big contract termination fee either as was rumoured with Brendan.
-
Such a disappointing looking lineup given we need a win today to keep pace with Manchester United 😂 My god, they’re shit aren’t they!
-
Add into this - if you are asking one of your fullbacks to do this, you can’t expect them to do it for 90 minutes; instead what you do is essentially have a pre-planned change at around the 60-70 minute mark to freshen and ensure the same intensity can be applied to that role (which, with 5 subs you can now afford to do).
-
He’ll get 5 minutes at most and will be brought on for Mav whilst Ayew ambles about for 90 minutes.

Arsenal (A) Match Thread - 15:00PM 28th Sept

You mean a Vardy penalty I take it? -
You could say that - you could also say that it’s not given he offered very little despite being kept on for the whole game. What is perplexing is Cooper persisting with attacking with one winger inverting and that sides full back pushing high up today. Does he really think we’ll have any serious amount of possession today to that - and even if we did, would we want our full back bombing on leaving space down a flank for a centrehalf to cover.
-
There ain’t much about us that leads to calling him to stay though. The key question you have to ask yourself - are Steve Cooper’s decisions helping or hindering us as a side? This squad is decent - it’s certainly capable of a lot more than what Cooper’s getting out of it.
