  1. I’m not going to quibble over which method saves the most seconds, but one press on your phone brings the ticket up. There is nothing to find.
  2. Yes, that’s clearly the only reason some people want to hold onto their card. No point making out like it’s because of phones breaking or no signal etc. Good news also for me that even with NFT I can transfer my ticket to others on five occasions, or also get my money back by reselling on others. If I really go to less matches than that, then it’s probably fair I give my season ticket up to somebody else waiting in the queue anyway.
  3. The fee was there to discourage people from keeping the card. With no fee, most people would have just kept the card. They would prefer people not to pay the £25, so it wasn’t just a money making exercise. As it is, there really isn’t much sense in keeping the card anyway and I certainly wouldn’t go back to one.
  4. I’ve not been to a cup game this season. I have done previously and found getting into my area ok, although larger queues in other places. I assume that’s because the amount of people that haven’t used it before. Should get better I would assume, the more times people use it. For season ticket holders at league matches, it really doesn’t slow anything up at all.
  5. I must be just incredibly lucky then. Thought you said you had no issues with NFT in another post? You have just as much of a chance that you lose your wallet or have it stolen than your phone not working too.
  6. It’s just saved in the wallet on the phone. Automatically gets updated prior to each match.
  7. It’s never not worked for me. One press on the phone and it’s there.
  8. I’d say it’s quicker to get in the ground using my phone than having to go into my wallet to get my card. More than happy I didn’t pay £25 for nothing.
  9. Money is tight and I imagine we may need to wait until close to the deadline for either players to become affordable, or players to decide they want to join us.
  10. So you’d rather run with a first sub that’s scored one goal in a year or so? Or a player scoring goals for Ajax and banged in 28 a couple of seasons ago in the Championship? Struggling to see that logic.
  11. Cannon wouldn’t get 28 Championship goals in a season.
  12. Well it certainly makes more than zero sense as you would be getting a player for a low fee, that is potentially worth a lot more.
  13. Probably wouldn't be able to sign him in the summer if we did get relegated. We need players for now anyway.
  14. I'd be happy with this for a low fee.
  15. Yeah, Ipswich and Wolves are so good aren't they. They are so far ahead of us too, I can really see your logic in thinking it's impossible to catch them.
  16. People want to find negatives in anything related to the club, even when decisions make sense.
  17. Glad he’s gone. Nice bit of profit for a change.
  18. I think we will bring in some players, but I do think we need to stay within PSR for 2024-25. If we get relegated, it won't be do or die like last time around as our wage bill will be a lot lower and our position for PSR next season should be better. We would be in the top 2 in the betting to come straight back up. I am still hoping we get some good business done by the end of the month though to give us a chance. We aren't down just yet.
  19. I don't have a problem with us signing players. I would have been fine with buying that January to strengthen more and gamble on securing a top 4 spot. I also think we were far enough ahead of 5th, to understand the thinking behind not signing anyone though. I was also fine with us spending in January 2023 to try and stay up, even if it meant breaking PSR rules as the consequences of relegation were huge. I was also fine with us spending reasonably big last summer to try and get promoted at the first attempt, as failure to do so would have resulted in a whole lot of issues and people would have got their wish of seeing a half a team full of U21s struggling with us towards the bottom end of the Championship. I can see the logic behind the spending we did, which I why I'm not one to bash the board in that respect. We should have sold Tielemans when it was clear he wasn't going to sign a new contract. Ndidi or Barnes were possibly the only others that could have generated a good level of profit. Soyuncu was damaged goods after his terrible showings for us in the second half of the 2020-21 season and his performance at the Euros, and I think it was too early to sell Maddison.
  20. The trouble is though, the board gets slated for overspending to try and stay up, but then criticised for not spending to try and stay in the top 4. Can't really have it both ways in my opinion. There would have been no guarantee buying a player for £25m in January would have kept us in the top 4. What did you then think to our signings in the summer after the FA Cup win? I know most on here were excited to get the Daka and Soumare signings in early. Looked like good business and the kind of players people are desperate for us to be signing. They don't always work out though unfortunately as we have found out.
  21. We spent not far short of £100m in the summer of 2019. As I said, we shouldn't have needed to spend another £25m in January with a 14 point cushion over 5th. We didn't have the benefit of knowing we were going to dramatically collapse.
  22. Not really if you overspend on a player when you might have better options in the summer.
  23. Looking back at the table and it's hard to believe we were actually 14 points clear of 5th at the end of January 2020 after 24 matches! That should have been enough, but we went into relegation form.
  24. You know what I meant about staying in the top 4. We were in it for virtually two years. Obviously we stuffed it up in the only week that mattered.
