Yeah, it was decent compared to usual. Early goal helped and I think the noise increased towards the end when it was got a little unsettled. Agree on the variety of chants for players being good.
-
Social media would be all over it, too. The players in the 90s were mostly all British and living locally, now plenty live outside the county. Cannot see a drinking culture happening.
-
Been that way for 8 years.

Moyes seems to be getting the same backing Rodgers got where the club he is at masks the squad he's got. West Ham, like us, should've been in the position they were because the squad had the quality. He is doing the job expected, I would say.

There is something in this but not just people in grounds. I'm far less engaged in the sport than I used to be, the 24/7 nature of it (fully realising I'm posting on a football forum available all the time) has taken it from a Saturday afternoon pastime (which it still was for a while in the Premier League era) to an enormous, all consuming thing. Nothing isn't covered, everything is known and the spontaneity has gone. Said before that I think we are a lost cause, we aren't going to shift people easily to potentially get a vibrant new fanbase in and there appears to be little desire from within to change as seen by the reluctance to be involved in safe standing areas.

I saw that Rodgers was taking credit for Vardy getting the Golden Boot at 33 after he joined. Yeah, nothing to do with him being in the prime of his career and the two years immediately before he took over was Vardy at his clinical best.

You won't hear that in the mainstream media!- Matt Le Tissier

"Is this the King Power?" rings out as the amount of empty seats is visible.

I do think there is a case that some celebrations are too much but anyone from Liverpool complaining that other people go over the top is totally lacking in self awareness.

Minor things like league tables suggest the style of play works.

Bad for us...or is it?
-
For a man who probably thinks the "game has gone soft", Dyche's teams have a lot of injuries through "cramp".
-
Did play but didn't score.

Alen Boksic for Middlesbrough at Filbert St.

We also sold £90 odd million worth of players in the summer. Two of the most expensive players in our squad joined in 2017.

People desperate for a replacement for Martin Tyler either forgot or didn't realise how irritating Drury is. The fact he then spawns a copycat in that prat Weaver adds to his general annoyance.
-
Most of Chelsea's wins in the past 18 months have been against mediocre sides, too. Think it is only Tottenham with 9 men and Brighton of the better teams that they have beaten.
-
Sunderland deserve this for that away kit.

Sheffield United were always a hopeless case. Must be so grim to follow this every week.
-
Attitude is spot on and the quality shows. Good to see the strikers contribute, too.
-
Honestly wasn't bothered if they stayed up or not but their constant whining and refusal to truly accept their reckless behaviour is swaying me towards hoping they go.
-
We are going to need to be creative going forward and I just don't see Rudkin as the man. The indulgence of Rodgers has left a legacy that is difficult to get past.
-
We should still have enough in the squad to see us over the line but it is such a bad look again.
-
Could imagine he's not hugely popular within the game.
