I get all that but even a decade ago we had no VAR and the endless shit that goes with it. We weren't financially restricted like we will be. The atmosphere has been flat and tetchy when we've been winning- losing will be significantly worse than that and that will be regular. As I said, it is the league we should aim to be in and stay there but I don't see much beyond a grim struggle with this manager or anyone else.

We are just a generally miserable fanbase. People having been moaning enough after victories.

At least we can say that results are all that matters. It was one of our best performances but a bad result. All this stuff about entertainment and all that- we nick a 1-0 with one shot and this place is bouncing.

What? I have been feeling this way for a while. Look at the main topics of conversation in that league- VAR and FFP. Most fanbases are miserable as sin, our own would add to it. Kick off times will be shit. Yes, it is the league the club should aim to be in but I'm not enamoured by being there again.
