I don't live in the area. How is the team promoted? Do they advertise locally to junior football clubs? Do they run coaches to the game, or when they played at Burton? The attendances are poor. About a 20th of the capacity. I know kick off times aren't great but you would think with the growth of the women's game it would see a boost. Just feels, from the outside, another team within the club left to drift along with no real direction or enthusiasm.

The thing is, I get not all fans are fully invested in the outside noise and this stuff doesn't register. Some are only bothered about what happens in the pitch. The issue we have is that plenty in that category aren't bothered by results now. And you are correct; a failing, declining football club dampens the vibe around the area. The empty seats means fewer people going into the centre and using it. There is no buzz around the club anymore.

Enough of the fanbase love to put the club down so they don't need to do anything radical. This lot are very fortunate to have the passive, forelock tugging element who follow them.
