Brilliant.
As an aside, The Osmonds were biggish in Australia.... but i never heard (or ignored) Crazy Horses. I saw it the other day and was... WTF??? This is the Osmonds????
The 70s were a very unusual decade musically... possibly the most diverse until now?
Once we stop the power of the miners and oil companies, we can progress. But we must move the support from the old tech (coal, oil, gas) to new, renewables.
Sadly in Australia we give $2.8 billion to renewables, while giving $11.6 to fossil fuels
This is me... watched the game for 50+ years.. played at a few lveles for 35+... still have almost ni idea what our "tactics" are. I tend to be in the game. Obviously i can see us playing the ball rather than lumping it etc.. but i genuinely dont know if (or even what a 4,3,2,1 etc is when we play) we change our tactics
If you ever wonder about the differnece in England / America.... reading the book above, followed by this one just spells it out.
Edit, no thats not fair. but it is an interesting comparison
This is where my confusion lies, if the game started 15 minutes earlier... would the leavers still leave 15 minutes earlier?
When i was able to go and watch live... i simply allocated the time needed to go and see the game...
1 hour drive to the game
20 minute walk to the ground
(4 years to get through "security")
2+ hours for the match
20 minute walk to the car
1.20 hour drive home
I no longer can go and watch so i dont really care... but i just find it bizarre that someone takes time away from what they are going for to prioritise saving it elswhere.
Didnt see the game.. but a very interesting view of our opponents in this thread.
Must say i did laugh a little when i saw the "finish in the Top 6" odds this morning....
