Better manager than ours who’s best achievement is mid table with QPR.

It’s beyond me how anyone has ever backed him. Quite clear he never had a clue. Should have gone months ago.

Oxford now only 6 points behind us. Granted we’ve a game in hand but it’s still madness.

Probably because there's far too many interviews and press conferences. We don't need every little detail. Before a game, straight after after a game, you even have interviews during games now. Questions about the next game, the last game (which the previous interview covered anyway). It's boring. I'm not surprised managers come out with the same things, I know I would.

I'm at a point now where I can't be bothered with games, especially home games, anymore. Mates invited me to the pub tomorrow, while the game is on, and I think I'll be there instead. Never thought I'd say that, especially given it's Sheffield United and I know many people who follow both Sheffield clubs which always make the games between us more interesting. Away games are a bit more fun as they can be made into a longer stayover but the game itself is usually the worse part. I was bored with this manager two months ago and I've been bored of these players a lot longer than that.

We had a wobble between February and April (losing to Leeds, Middlesbrough, QPR, Bristol City) but in between losing those games we won the rest, aside from the draw at Hull. But people point to the Southampton game (5-0) as our best performance of the season and that was our second last home game of the season. The Blackburn game was nothing different to already being promoted and losing the following game (as we did under previous managers too). Ultimately we won the league. It helps we didn't draw too many games. You can get away with losing one winning your next, better than draw after draw.

This isn't a strong point though. We change the manager far too late/when it's too late.

Yeah, and hopefully everyone catches on because the prices of new kits - even just a new shirt - are ridiculous. Something else that needs to change.

All while they were showing another manager round behind Pearson's back! No coincidence nothing improved until Pearson returned.

This place is always good at overrating our own players.

I'm fed up about posting about him. He's shit. Always has been. Nothing will ever change my mind. Given the transfer fee and his wages, he is one of the worse players I've ever seen at the club. Can't do anything.

I was astonished a club looking for promotion (us) appoints a manager who's best success is lower to mid table to be honest. A manager who was on gardening leave at the end of last season because he wanted out of QPR (presumably to WBA).

Vestergaard always gets caught so high, doesn't win the ball/beat the man, and then hasn't got the pace to get back. Seen it time and time again during his years here.

I cannot say how much I dislike these two players for us. Always have and always will. Doesn't help they're unlikeable and not even good either.

We have a tough run of games. Taking Sheffield United out of it, even though I think that game will be tough, we've got a run of Derby/Bristol City/Ipswich. By the time we reach boxing day we could well be mid to lower table.

I am. I said it all along, ever since the Wrexham game. A better manager would be getting more out of these players. You only have to look at the mess Southampton are in, the issues they have with their board, they were underachieving and then changing manager brings new ideas, better performances and results.

He goes down so easy. So laughable.

Has anybody said they're pissed off on here? There's more posts saying how people are happy for him and how they hope he can kick on now. There were 20,000+ clearly happy on Saturday too.
