  1. I doubt it. If he was a decent manager then he’d get something out of these. He gets nothing. There are lots of managers that go into bad squads and get something from them.
  2. I expect a goal here and there and a point here and there. It’s a poor squad but he gets nothing from it. I do not expect 7 consecutive home games without scoring. People continue to make excuses for him.
  3. People genuinely clap these. I don’t know what they are clapping. These players, this manager and this ownership should be hounded. Everything is a disgrace.
  4. Get us a manager that can actually have us scoring goals. Get Van Nistelrooy out. Please.
  5. RVN has a plan and a structure?? Where? He also has relied on an almighty dollop of luck, often lucky we haven’t conceded more than we actually have. The fact we are now 45 mins away from a record breaking 7 consecutive home games without a single goal is an absolute disgrace and should be a sackable offence alone. I’m fed up of hearing excuses for this bloke, he is quite clearly one of our worse managers of all time.

He’s so weak. Not sure I’ve seen a player knocked off the ball so easy. Nearly almost everything that goes into him breaks down, that’s when he’s not on the ground.
  7. I had him on at 9/4 anytime but gutted I didn’t go with first scorer as he was 6/1.
  8. How is this bloke still our manager. It’s a joke.
  9. It's a major trophy. Just gets played down by the big teams who either lose the final or go out the competition. The big clubs have always dominated it so they must take it more serious than Sky like to think.
  10. How many fouls and free kicks so far. Boring the life out of me.
  11. They’re awful. Rest of the league must be terrible. Can’t see anything past them finishing 20th next season.
  12. Must be the worse derby in the football league. Built up so much yet nothing ever happens.
  13. Great win for Stockport.
  14. Ruud has been shocking. There is no 'but' in there. He has overseen 6 consecutive home games without us scoring a goal. His performance as manager has been a disgrace.
  15. Oh I agree and I said before I've done the least amount of away games this season then I've ever done but my point was OP was talking about people in agreement about ID checks because of demand for away tickets which is wrong. Just an excuse to want the ID checks. A lot of away games this season have gone down to any STH level.
  16. There has been less demand for away tickets this season than ever before. We're sending tickets back to Man City, not the first time that's happened for an away game this season.
  17. The week before Man City beat us they were held to a 1-1 at home to Everton and earlier in the month were held to a draw at Palace. Also consider Newcastle hadn't won in 5 or 6 before they played us. We definitely played teams at the right time. Unfortunately though they didn't need to get out of second gear to beat us. Also the OP said Everton were missing players when we played them under Cooper. They were also missing players, albeit not as many, when we played them under Van Nistelrooy. Beto played, and scored against us, despite only previously only scord 1 goal all season.
  18. For balance then you also need to mention that Van Nistelrooy's victory against Spurs was basically against their B team.
  19. Oh and I found this. Some City ones in there. Some crackers actually, left foot, right foot. Better than what people, and himself, give him credit for.
  20. Is it that surprising though? It's an awful KO time, we're terrible and the opposition are a midtable team at best. On top of all that, the club are probably charging £50 a ticket minimum.
  21. I suppose it depends what the board were looking for in a manager in the summer. If they wanted someone to just keep us up then Cooper had history of doing that with Forest, some might argue a worse Forest side. I hoped to stay up and I genuinely believed Cooper would have kept us up, just. Fair enough if they wanted to sack Cooper but at least go for a better manager. We took a huge backwards step at that point. Van Nistelrooy has never shown any sign of being good enough here and should have gone weeks ago. Even in Van Nistelrooy's opening games we weren't good enough, I said at the time that West Ham and then Brighton had the best chances of each game but couldn't take them, people laughed when I posted that and said I was wrong. There were people posting, when Cooper was here, that this squad would be up the table under a better manager The last two summer's have been poor. People point under Cooper but under Enzo wasn't any better. We wasted £15m on Coady and Cannon (granted, we found a club stupid enough to make a profit on Cannon) but in the Championship we generally signed players that were good enough to get us up but then not good enough to push on in the Premier League, such as Mavididi nearly £7m and Winks £10m (Hermansen aside, of course). The money we've spent has been horrific and ultimately it is recruitment which damages your team.
  22. Pace doesn't matter if a defender can read the game well.
  23. Quarter final draw looks good. All should be good games to watch.
  24. Before my time so one for the older generation to clarify but I would imagine Gary McAllister has to be up there. I caught the back end of his career and he was still class then, so during his prime he must have been superb. I think aside from the CL he’s won everything as well. But during my time I would go with Elliott, then probably Dickov.
