Fair enough but he has not had success just not done bad and most teams have parted with him after 12 months. He has connections to the club so that maybe a positive. I’m not a fan of Rowett coming at all but I hope it works if that’s the way it goes

Gary Rowett is an horrendous choice to be considered. I know beggars can’t be choosers but he failed everywhere he’s been and although he’s an ex player he’s not exactly a club legend. Plus ex Derby manager just to make him even less desirable.

Can’t imagine even Rudkin would be stupid enough to pay a player off for his full contract so he can find another club. Why would Winks accept anything less than full wages until end of June. Like I said before PSR puts clubs in a ridiculous position where it’s cheaper to keep them than pay them off or sell them.

Players are assets, and their cost is spread over their contract length. If a player was bought for £10m on a 3 year deal, their value drops by £3.3m each year. If sold before 3 years and on last year that would be classed as a £3.3m loss. That’s how I see it and ive Seen it explained before. No way can we afford that on our PSR debt so they let his contract run down.

Letting him go for free would put us in a negative situation with PSR , this was explained the other day on Leicester radio by a PSR expert. Crazy situation and ridiculous but kind of explains it

I’m guessing it’s a PSR thing where if we sell at a loss it’s goes against us massively so better to run down contract , same with Daka. Madness but I think that’s the way it works.

The fact we’re all accepting this is probably proof to how far we’ve fallen. i personally don’t expect anyone as I fear financially we’re completely screwed and worse news is yet to come.

His career has been very up and down but he seems like he’s finally found a club that value him in us. agreed we are a mess but he’s actually one of the only players that looks pleased to be here.

Terrible loan , Stats before and after we took him are atrocious and would have been better giving a youth player some time than paying him for 6 months. Another embarrassment to our scouting team.

He was on tallk sport the other day still going on about his bad start with us and how the crowd were booing him when he first joined. His era was my favourite era of the club but I don’t think he loves us as much as we love him although he has good memories I don’t think he would ever come back.
