I did Cat Quest 3, another easy, quick platinum just to break up Expedition 33 a bit. Now, back to Renoir...

A points deduction will have us hovering around the bottom 3. Let's deal with that first before looking the other way.

I've done a bit of exploring but am probably under-levelled at this point in the game. I'll have another look at my lumina setup and explore Old Lumiere some more and hopefully get past him. Failed another 5 times with him although I can time his mask attack and normal 5 hit combo no problem. His vanishing move is doing me as is his health pick up move. I can't down those in time with my current setup.

I've hit a brick wall in the form of Renoir outside his mansion. Tried this 5 times now and getting pasted each and every time. His disappearing move is killing me and then those damn petals reset his health just when I'm getting somewhere. I'll keep trying... All my characters are sub level 30 which is probably making this harder than it should be.

Dualliste, Expedition 33. Hugely satisfying to pull off an 8 step dodge combo followed by a perfectly timed gradient attack to finish him off for good when just about wiped out on his next move. Great stuff.

Just finished act 1 myself. Never saw that one coming from a turned based rpg, and I've played many, wow. Great game though. I've just met Clive... again.

Finding the parry/dodge system tricky. I'll go through a set of enemies and think I've got this but then on another set, it's a total fail. The timing is all over the place. Almost had the bourgeon boss on 1st try, but then he ate me I left out the lance guy near the start, too tricky. The second mimic at current level is a complete non starter too

Hope you took out the mime and picked up the old key! I like a story full of questions, just about to head into Act 1 completely confused as to what is going on

Clair Obscur Expedition 33. You know you're onto a winner when you just stop and listen for the first time at the main screen for 15 minutes and don't do what it asks you to do. Looking forward to a platinum run on this!

I have Clair Obscur to start, picked it up cheap on black friday alongside Astro Bot. Ended up downloading Still Wakes the Deep after my SH2 Remake run and if you've not done that, I highly recommend it. It will take roughly 5 hours and I had it done in the space of a day. Couldn't put it down until I finished it, great game.

I couldn't tell what the system was second half and neither could the players. Shocking mismanagement against a very ordinary Bristol side. Marti isn’t good enough.

The getting everyone to level 20 trophy is becoming tedious. I've done everything else but this is very, very tedious for a grind.

That's Silent Hill 2 Remake done. I couldn't go back and do platinum on it since a single experience of slogging through the depressional nature of playing it is enough for me. Ended up with an equally depressing ending too. 😆 The one where he takes his car into the lake and Mary's letter fades to darkness. Wanted the Maria ending but hey ho. Onto something more uplifting. Lego Horizon should do the trick...🙂
