We're assuming we can do good business in January where, in a more likely scenario, we're more than likely to find the next Ryan Bennett and consider this a success. I can't see us reversing the Wolves result, unless we keep within 3 of them AND win at their place. If they take 6 points off us, it's curtains.

I can appreciate the effort in terms of getting something going in terms of a team approach in today's game but that Wolves game will take a hell of a lot of effort to reverse. It was really, really damning. When we go there, we have to win the game. Otherwise, I don't see us getting out of the top of the bottom 3 positions regardless of what comes in-between. -

Stay humble eh? -
Not so sure. At least 5 would have gone to ground and looked up at the stars, perhaps the 6th or 7th if free might have got a hand to it.
-
Not even 3 Danny Ward's could have saved that.
-
Harry Winks has been outstanding this half.

We're totally buggered. Should have been 8 points clear of Wolves going into this round of games but instead are staring down the barrel before January. Happy new year.
-
I've watched back that third goal many times. I still can't understand how he doesn't save it at that angle. Ridiculous.

Since the days of Kevin Poole, I've never seen a more useless keeper than him play for us. We've had a fair share of dodgy keepers in that time but this guy is beyond all of them for uselessness.

Agree. But it shouldn't take any length of research to establish that Ward is stealing a living at this level. Any highlights from 22/23 would ascertain this within seconds. -
Referee has forgotten give the yellow there in the build up and then gives it the other way moments later

Biggest game at home since the Sadler/Stowell debacle. Absolutely must win this game.

The reason we look so poor defensively doesn't necessarily mean that has come directly from Ward's mistakes. His presence alone makes mistakes more likely because a bag of flour could command the box better than he does. He was a huge reason for the debacle of 22/23.
-
Huge game. Simply must win. Hopefully Ward is being shipped off out of Newcastle port in a cargo ship somewhere as we speak.
-
Huge game for us. Beat them and they're in big, big trouble.

Great news for us that he's staying.

He's a class act. Just let him do what he does. We'll stay up, I'm fully convinced. -

Want to do one more platinum before the end of the year (since FF7 Rebirth is huge and taking ages - I'm at over 100 hours and only back at the Gold Saucer for the 2nd time) which is easy and doable in a short amount of time. Plucky Squire anyone?

What goes around comes around. He's only managed 4, albeit one handed to him by Massi, in a row and now he's under pressure most races. This is the outcome. Makes for good TV. Horner will crawl back into his hole as well before too long.

We're back!!!!!!!! BEAUTIFUL!

A winner. Makes a huge difference.

Kristiansen started that off with some great footwork. Impressive whether offside or not.
