  1. Not too sure coming from Alan Wake 2 and into Silent Hill 2 was a great idea. As good as it looks, it plays like it's 20 years old and feels quite dated but has the flashy graphics. I'll stick with it but, like many classics, it hasn't aged that well. RE4 Remake felt fresh, this doesn't.
  2. David and Nick will go down as two of the worst faithfuls of all time. Woeful.
  3. Signed "We are where we are... The Foxes Trust". I have a feeling it's going to properly fall apart on Saturday afternoon.
  4. Can't fault the endeavour here to be fair. Quality is low, the opposition is poor, but we're doing ok.
  5. As usual, the opposition is garbage, and we are worse.
  6. Carranza aiming at someone in the crowd he's taken a disliking to? Shocking.
  7. Yes, same fixture. Who remembers that snow-in? Took me 4 hours to get home that night!
  8. He doesn't have the intelligence either.
  9. When you can't work out the system from the team sheet, you know there's trouble coming.
  10. I can get behind players that make a genuine mistake if they're putting a shift in. But if mistakes are made and players aren't bothered to put a shift in, they fully deserve the criticism.
  11. It's no different from seeing a decent opening 10 minutes followed by an abject 80 from the players. The fans only react accordingly to what is produced on the field of play. And if the players aren't going about it professionally, they should have every expectation of being shouted at. We're not even that great at showing our displeasure of the situation. Southampton at the weekend were audibly much more disgruntled, which is exactly what our fan base should be.
  12. Alan Wake 2 done, platinum in the bag. A frustrating ending to what was a very clever game at times. I'm not spending another 20 hours doing it all over again for slightly better closure on the ending though, I'll watch the videos on YT. Apart from dragging on after the final showdown by the lake, it was well done, the highlights being Saga's amusement park section and the studio scene with Alan. If there's a 3rd installment, needs to be less than another 13 year wait. On to the Silent Hill remake...!
  13. Yes - this is why I always take a shot at one when it's on the wall, with a book.
  14. The waiting list for a season ticket is likely declining by the day. Perhaps I could then get my seat back if I showed interest? At the moment, can't be justified as it's not just the game you're investing in, it's the hassle of getting in and out of town. Takes up to 5 hours of the day just to get there to take no enjoyment whatsoever in attending and then to mull it over on the way home.
  15. Mediocrity? Nah, big trouble. Wake up people!!!
  16. Daka did the same with his boots. "Slight wear and tear..."
  17. If this is mediocrity, I'll take results like this every weekend. Fact is, we're in a relegation fight with no fighters in the team.
  18. The boos weren't loud enough. Too much apathy from the crowd. Poor.
  19. As I said in the week, with a points deduction incoming, we're in big trouble.
  20. Alan Wake 2 - Finished Saga's storyline right up until the point of no return having done all the collectables on the way (dolls, lunch boxes etc.) . Easily on target for the platinum, just need to get through Wake's storyline and tie it all up at the end. Decent game, the storyline has taken various unexpected turns but the atmosphere is great.
  21. Flip the question... Can we go up? It's a firm no. Then ask yourself, which is more likely?
  22. ... which wouldn't have happened had Leclerc been forced to give his place back to Lewis after turn 1 as he gained two places (the lead) after leaving the track but only gave back one. ... which in turn wouldn't have led to a dive bomb up the inside in which Lewis's car essentially prevented Max from flying off the circuit as he was not in control at the corner. ... which according to the FIA at the time was viewed as Lewis causing a collision. ... which then led to the event you have described. That's a fair evaluation of events. Whether or not people agree with the outcome is up to them. The general consensus from what I've read since, and watched back, is that it isn't good enough. It hasn't been since 2021 Abu Dhabi.
  23. You can argue all day long about the ins and outs of the penalties but to actually put the initial contact on Lewis in causing a collision is ridiculous. Everything else that happened was a result of this misinterpretation of a so called legitimate pass. "Overtook"? Seriously. The FIA still doesn't learn from 2021.
  24. The stewards will be happy with that. Almost orchestrated a 2nd place finish, some feat that.
  25. Essentially, Lewis has been penalised for leaving the track and gaining an advantage as a result of avoiding a collision following another desperate lunge in which is car was hit. Does Massi communicate secretly with the stewards in any way? Replacing Massi has changed nothing. Total farce.
